Fit Tip: Length - true to size. Width - medium with slightly narrow forefoot. Arch - medium. Little to no break-in.
The Barricade 2016, in new colors for the season, breaks free in the most comfortable, responsive version yet. Now with Barricade chassis support and stability in the midfoot, the forefoot is much freer to move and flex with each movement while maintaining iconic Barricade durability. The ballistic mesh and heat welded TPU upper improves flexibility and breathability while retaining its durability.
Compared to my past shoes of Nike usually, these shoes only took about 2 days to break in and not have sore feet. The edges of the shoe are a little tight to the ankle though. They bite into the skin around my medial malleolus and heel as a result from being so tight. They hold up well in terms of durability. I've always struggled finding shoes that last long, but these have been doing very well. The style is really hard to beat. These Adidas Barricades are really nice looking.
5 StarsModern colors of a sturdy shoe

The Barricade is a stiff shoe that provides much needed lateral support for tennis. This color combo is trendy. Like any Barricade you need to be careful with the breakin period.
5 StarsGreat high performance shoe

Great shoe. My son is a competive, ranked junior in Texas. Holds up better than other shoes. He trains 2-4 hours a day plus tourneys almost every weekend. Outsole lasted a little over two months. We have now sent to Adidas for 6 month warranty. We will see shortly how smoothly that goes.
5 StarsAmazing shoe
