The Babolat Aero Storm Tour GT (Graphite Tungsten), used by Dinara Safina and Jo Wilfried Tsonga, is updated by adding a hybrid of braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments throughout the entire racquet. Tungsten strengthens the frame to reduce torque for greater precision (Babolat claims 26% more precision compared to the previous Aero Storm Tour). Babolat continues to utilize the Cortex vibration filter at the top of the handle. Cortex is used in several of Babolat's players racquets to enhance feel by cancelling only the 2 highest vibration frequencies. Only those frequencies that enhance feel are permitted to pass through the Cortex filter.
Babolat has kept the specifications on the new Aero Storm Tour GT very similar to the previous generation Aero Storm Tour.
The Aero Storm Tour GT is ideal for intermediate to advanced players looking for control in a thinner, more flexible beam. Offers excellent spin generation and feel for the player who already generates most of their own power. Slightly heavier heft and more head light than the Aero Storm GT.
