Perfect racquet for a recreational player.
This is such a great racquet; I tell all my friends and family that they have to try it. Plus, the price is a steal and you won’t find anything better! This is a perfect racquet for someone who may be a bit older and looking to transition from singles to doubles. The large sweet spot and the lightness of the frame is a great combination. It’s easy to swing with great feel and comfort. In addition to this, the power from this frame is awesome. I’m looking to improve my volleys more with this frame, but that is my only con with this racquet. A must try!
This is a good racquet. However, It take some time to feel the power and control.
For me, the last Drive Z 110, was the best medium price tennis racquet. That racquet, from the first moment, you could have all the power and control.
I am a senior player and was looking to switch to a frame with a larger head size. I am also transitioning into playing doubles full time, so I needed a racquet that was suitable for a net game. I saw this Babolat Drive Max 110 had a low cost and great review so I tested it out. This racquet was awesome from the first time that I played with it. The light weight of this frame combined with the large sweet spot makes it perfect for almost anyone who is looking for some added power. I would say this is the best racquet I have played with in my 30 years of tennis. I definitely feel good about transitioning to doubles, as this racquet has helped me excel at my net game, particularly my volleys. Even from the baseline this racquet provides loads of power with its large sweet spot, and allowed me to gain more depth on my ground strokes. I will definitely be sticking with this racquet. I changed out the prestrung for Babolat Addiction 16g at mid tension.
Low level 2.0 player, just picked up the game of tennis this past year (52 years old). I needed an entry-level racquet at a low cost and found my match with the Drive Max 110. Really comfort plus this racquet has a lot of power. Easy to swing with a large sweetspot. I am still working on my game at the net but this racquet has been relatively stable. I recommend this racquet for an older player that needs a lightweight larger frame that produces a lot of power and is really comfortable.
I borrowed this racquet from a friend when my strings broke on another racquet during a match. I loved the racquet and was happy to be able to find one! It seems to be a perfect combination of power and touch. The head is slightly smaller than my old racquet, so I am adjusting to that when I volley.
I bought this for my mom and she loves it. She is a recreational tennis player but plays at least 3 times a week. She said that she felt that she was playing better immediately.
This racquet was recommended by someone who has played for many years in competitive doubles. The lightness of the frame with a large sweet spot makes it a perfect racquet for those who are transitioning to an older age category. My confidence level in approach shots and net play shot up significantly. Very satisfied.
went back to this racket as I have the control I need but still good power. Hard to find now as it seems to be discontinued...
I am a Senior Player that would be rated an above average player. This is by far the best racquet that I have ever played, and I have tried many different ones over the years. It has control and good power. The hits feel solid. I borrowed this racquet from a friend, and after only one time trying it had to have one. I now have two.
I am an intermediate tennis player. For some 3 years, I was playing with Babolat Drive Z 110. When yhe new Babolat Drive Max 110 was with a lower price, I bought it. I have to mention that, at least for me, the old Z 110 is better than the new one. With this new racquet strung with 55 pounds I do not have enough control in my line shots. I am not able to send the ball where I want to. Please, tell me if I can do some kind of changes in this new racquet Thank you
This is my second racket and I have more power and control with no elbow pain using this racket.
