The Babolat Pure Aero Lite is the latest light weight option in the Pure Aero racquet line and offers a great new matte black and fluorescent yellow cosmetic. An emphasis on spin friendly design remains a carryover from the design of the Aeropro Drive family of racquets. An updated Aeromodular beam design produces 11% less drag than the previous Aeropro Drive. FSI Spin string pattern spacing offers a more open string pattern, as well as permits more movement of the main strings, due to slotted grommet openings at 6:00 and 12:00. Lighter 10.0 ounce strung weight makes for an ideal transitional frame for a younger player looking for a lighter, more maneuverable alternative to the standard Pure Aero.

Babolat created a higher sweetspot on the string bed for additional power and comfort in the hitting zone. Frame String Interaction technology is located in the hoop of the racquet, allowing the ball to stay on the stringbed 25% longer than traditional racquets.
Babolat’s second generation Aeromodular technology, located in the middle of the frame, allows for a 10% quicker response through the air, offering that ultra fast racquet head speed so many players seek.
The ultimate comfort technology from Babolat. The Cortex Dampening System interface was put into Babolat’s racquets to enhance feel by canceling out vibration frequencies. This technology is offered in two versions, the “Cortex System” focuses in on pure feel, reducing harmful vibrations. Babolat’s second offering, “Cortex Active” dampens vibrations allowing for maximum comfort.
I wanted to love this racquet, but it was just too light for me! Unfortunately I loved this racquet when I picked it up in the store and it seemed like a great idea until I finally had the chance to demo it. Since I’m playing at a 4.0-4.5 level, I thought this light of racquet was not as stable when I’m receiving a heavy ball. I am used to the Pure Drive and the AeroPro Drive, so this was just too much of a step down from that. Overall it is a nice frame, but I think it would be better for an intermediate player who is looking to transition from a junior to adult racquet, or someone who needs the extra power from the lighter frame.
5 StarsGreat lighter frame!

I’m a beginner/intermediate player and was looking to get a new racquet (I was using a very old Wilson Surge!) and this racquet was recommended by a pro at my club. Once I hit with this frame I knew it was right for me. Since I’m mainly a baseliner, this racquet really helped me get some great power and depth from the back. The light weight of the frame easily generated the power I needed to excel in my game. I didn’t notice any arm or wrist pain from the light weight of the frame, but if you have something like tennis elbow you may want to try out a different frame, as the light weight can be detrimental to arm pain. The Pure Aero lite showed great maneuverability and control when I did decide to approach the net for some volleys and overheads. Overall I felt like this racquet took my game to the next level on all areas of the court. I am a 3.0 interclub player and strung this racquet with Babolat Addiction at 53lbs.
5 StarsVery User Friendly!

Really similar to the regular Pure Aero just a lot lighter. I was able to really control all of my power and spin from all of over the court. Noticed a lot less fatigue due to the lightness of the racquet. At only around 10 ounces strung, I felt like I could really swing fast and really paint the lines. No stress at all on my wrist or elbow when swinging this stick. I would definitely recommend the Pure Aero Lite for players looking for awesome feel and controlled power in a very lightweight frame.
4 StarsBumper Guard Flaw

Purchased two Pure Aero Lite racquets two weeks ago and love them so far, BUT..... There is a serious flaw in the bumper guard and I have broken two sets of strings at the head chasing down drop shots. Due to the flaw, even the slightest scrape at the head will break the strings.... unlike previous versions and/or other Babolat racquets, the strings are raised/on the outside of the bumper guard and are not protected. I recommend you buy Babolat or another brand of head protection tape. Supposedly, Babolat is aware of this design flaw.
4 StarsGood Racquet

Finally stepped up and spent the money on a good frame and man I am happy. Plays so much better than my department store frames. So light I can play for hours. Play 4.0 doubles and this has improved my game. My partner is very happy
