I’ve been an avid tennis player for many years now. For as long as I can remember I have always liked to switch racquets every couple years, it’s just something about getting a new frame that makes it feel like your entire game has changed. This can be either a good or bad thing depending on the racquet! A friend recommended I try the Pure Aero Plus, and I am very glad that I did. This racquet helped my recent elbow pain that I have been having almost right away. You’ll get tons of power on this frame without losing the necessary control. There is plenty of plow through and the added length aids in covering the court. Love the feel of this frame with a softer string to help balance out the heftier swingweight.
Great ! I was using the Pure Drive Plus 2012 model, but was having trouble getting topspin and keeping the ball in the court. This racquet creates more topspin as advertised. Not sure how, but it does. I also notice that I get more spin on my second serve. Opponents have mentioned this to me. I have mixed feelings on the paint job. It's a little loud, but I'm getting used to it. But what's important, and the reason I bought a few of these sticks is that it helps me win a few more points each match.
I used the AeroPro Drive Plus for many years, so when this new version came out I decided to give it a try. I like to play at the baseline and hit my shots hard. However, recently I have been experiencing some elbow pain that I couldn’t seem to get rid of. This racquet seemed to improve my pain along with power in my shots, without sacrificing the control. I did have to switch to a softer string, which does break easier but helps with the pain and gets me more pop on my shots. The added length on this frame helps me to cover all my shots on the court with ease. This racquet also helped to create more topspin on most of my shots. I really love how the added length and the swingweight allow me to plow through my shots while still allowing for some spin to keep the balls in the court. This frame is extremely versatile and maneuverable on the court as well. This would be a great option for anyone looking to amp up their game with power and spin. I strung this with RPM Blast at mid tension.
Have demo 3 different racquets with pro's and con's with all 3, but this racquet while very light to the feel was very firm on volleys, able to hit more spin as well!
I could feel the extended length right away with the heavier feel. This racquet felt very stable, producing great power on my first serves and that extra kick on my second serves. I felt like I was bombing balls from all over the court, really getting great depth with my shots, pushing my opponent very far back. I had this racquet strung with Luxilon's 4G S at a higher tension around 60 pounds which really allowed this racquet to have controllable power. If you are in the market for a powerful spin generating racquet I would really recommend this frame.
I really enjoyed this powerful new update to the AeroPro Drive Plus. From the extended length to the high hefty swingweight, the Pure Aero Plus gave me the ability to hit big banging winners from throughout the court. I did notice the different string pattern (FSI) featured on this frame which really allowed me to generate heavy topspin to go along with that added bite on the ball I've been seeking. Due to the amount of power this racquet naturally generates, I strung this racquet up with the thicker 15L RPM Blast from Babolat, allowing more control.
The Babolat Pure Aero Plus is definitely a G+箺Spin MachineG+箑 as advertised. I play 4 times a week on a competitive 5.0 menG+笻s team. Aside from the great spin, it also produces exceptional power with minimal effort. This racquet has changed my game and was extremely easy to adapt to. The added length helps me to cover the court more effectively, especially on my returns. IG+笻m able to get a good touch on balls that used to wiz past me. In regards to serving, I can be much more assertive with this racquet. On my first serves I take advantage of the power aspect and on my second serves, I really utilize the added spin. There are pros and cons on my volleys. I can certainly reach more shots, but with less maneuverability and grace than typically. Overall great all around racquet and really helping me to reach my full potential on the court.
