The Babolat Pure Aero Team is the latest lighter weight option in the Pure Aero racquet line and offers a great new matte black and fluorescent yellow cosmetic. An emphasis on spin friendly design remains a carryover from the design of the Aeropro Drive family of racquets. An updated Aeromodular beam design produces 11% less drag than the previous Aeropro Drive. FSI Spin string pattern spacing offers a more open string pattern, as well as permits more movement of the main strings, due to slotted grommet openings at 6:00 and 12:00. Lighter 10.7 ounce strung weight makes for a mid weight option between the standard Pure Aero and the lightweight Pure Aero Lite.

Babolat created a higher sweetspot on the string bed for additional power and comfort in the hitting zone. Frame String Interaction technology is located in the hoop of the racquet, allowing the ball to stay on the stringbed 25% longer than traditional racquets.
Babolat’s second generation Aeromodular technology, located in the middle of the frame, allows for a 10% quicker response through the air, offering that ultra fast racquet head speed so many players seek.
The ultimate comfort technology from Babolat. The Cortex Dampening System interface was put into Babolat’s racquets to enhance feel by canceling out vibration frequencies. This technology is offered in two versions, the “Cortex System” focuses in on pure feel, reducing harmful vibrations. Babolat’s second offering, “Cortex Active” dampens vibrations allowing for maximum comfort.
My son is a junior tennis player who has been recently been getting into the sport more and looking to play more weekly. He has been in between a junior and adult frame for about a month now and hasn’t been able to find the right adult frame just yet. After trying this he has finally found the perfect racquet! This is a great option for younger/beginner players because of the light weight and power that it offers. He is able to generate lots of power and spin on his ground strokes and serves, which he has been enjoying a lot! This racquet helps him to be more aggressive when he needs to be without losing control. I have a feeling we will be purchasing a few more very soon!

I have always been a fan of Babolat racquets and have been using them for about 7 years now. I loved the AeroPro Drive and when the Pure Aero series came out, I went ahead and tried the Pure Aero. I enjoyed playing with that, however it just felt heavier than the previous version. After that I tried the Pure Aero Team and it was perfect! It is a great lighter version of the Pure Aero. With the team version I can create any amount of topspin I want, while still creating power on the ball. I already have decent control, so this racquet just gave me the power and spin that I needed to step up my game. I also noticed that this racquet provides added maneuverability and comfort to my game, which is something I definitely look for! I strung this with Babolat Xcel at 57lbs because I found that a slightly higher tension helped me to control more shots from the baseline.
5 StarsLove, love, love the update

This is the updated version of what I was previously using (Aero Pro Team). The swing balance is slightly different than the previous version but I feel that it helps produce a more mechanically correct swing. It has a slightly higher weight which is good and I notice that there is not as much twisting on my volleys- the frame is solid and handles net play much better. I can hardly begin to speak for the spin and power potential on the baseline...I just LOVE it!....Just make sure your strings have some extra tension- it has the ability to send balls sailing way out.It is also fantastic for serves- it easily adds extra power without changing your form. Only one negative thing I have found- the outer part of the racquet chips easily. My doubles partner and I were practicing and our racquets collided in the service box and three small chunks flew off. Not sure what material the outside of the racquet is coated with but I am going to have to be extra careful with this one. This racquet would be almost perfect if not for that.
5 StarsEfficient new update!

I played with the previous version in the AeroPro Team and I really love this new update with the Pure Aero Team. Still maintains that lightweight forgiving style but I really noticed that this version provided more maneuverability with added comfort to my game. The FSI technology was a great touch, considering I hit the majority of the balls on the top half of the stringbed. With a larger sweetspot, I typically have great depth on my shots and minimal vibrations when hitting. My first go around with the Pure Aero Team was strung up with Babolat Pro Hurricane 16G at 54 pounds.

Babolat Pure Aero Team is an awesome lighter version of the Pure Aero. My daughter was torn between the two when deciding on what racquet to choose for her upcoming high school season. SheG+笻s always been a fan of Babolat and chose this version because of the good quality topspin she can create easily with both her forehand and backhand. The lighter version is perfect for her because she can play for a long period of time without tiring. She has very good control naturally, so this racquet adds an aggressive element to her game. This is obvious especially from the service line. Her serves have a bit more vigor now. ItG+笻s very entertaining to watch her play with such confidence, thanks to this great racquet.
5 StarsDaughter loves it

A love the power and feel. It is slightly lighter than what I am used to but seems to be great on my baseline shots. Just what I was looking for.
