Babolat updates the old Aero Storm tennis racquet into this Patriotic powerhouse, the Pure Aero VS Stars & Stripes. This unique version of the Pure Aero, comes with a classic USA red, white & blue cosmetic update and is endorsed on the ATP tour by American, Jack Sock.
The Pure Aero VS was made with control in mind. Babolat's Woofer grommet system is featured on this frame, allowing for longer ball and string contact time, creating maximum comfort and greater control. Cortex Dampening Interface is included with the Pure Aero VS for even better feel. The Pure Aero VS uses GT Technology, for extra stability at ball impact. At a very manageable 11 ounces strung, the Babolat Pure Aero VS will give players an opportunity to take fast and powerful swings, allowing for timely put-away points. Those players looking for an arm friendly, control oriented frame with a nice access to power should get their hands on the Babolat Pure Aero VS Stars & Stripes tennis racquet today!
Please note: Due to a manufacturer error, the weight within the throat of the racquet is incorrect. This racquet is 10.4 ounces unstrung.

The ultimate comfort technology from Babolat. The Cortex Dampening System interface was put into Babolat’s racquets to enhance feel by canceling out vibration frequencies. This technology is offered in two versions, the “Cortex System” focuses in on pure feel, reducing harmful vibrations. Babolat’s second offering, “Cortex Active” dampens vibrations allowing for maximum comfort.
Babolat’s Woofer system is the first and most effective frame to string linking system. This technology allows for longer ball and string contact time, creating maximum comfort and greater control.
Babolat’s GT technology was implemented to provide ideal stability at ball impact. With GT technology, the frame is strengthened which reduces the torque, allowing for great precision. The additional rigidity through GT technology provides ultimate control and additional power.
Aerodynamic frame shape allows the racquet to advance through the air at a faster pace, giving the player an easier opportunity to create optimal power and spin.
I'm a 4.0 level player. This racquet is a very comfortable racquet that maintains a fast degree of head speed. Comparable to its predecessor. Outstanding racquet if you want to make any customizations. I needed to add a little weight to it. You can't beat the Nationalistic shade design. Tons of control was featured, and it did allow for a bit of burst on my forehands. Up at the net, it's stable, got excellent depth on my volleys. I need some work on my serve, but I appreciated the power I got from this racquet on my serve. Strung with Luxilon's ALU Power at 53LBS.

I have been waiting quite some time to be able to demo this racquet and finally got my shipment last week. With the Olympics just finishing, the cosmetics on this frame stood out to me in a great way. The colors and patterns make for a super cool and modern look. Right away I noticed similarities to the Aero Storm which I previously loved. The thinner beam on this one definitely added some flexibility and maneuverability as well. The specs on this frame are ideal for a mid level player looking to make some advancements to their game. I loved hitting with this racquet and strung mine up with Addiction at 55lbs.

USA paint job is pretty awesome. Managed to get my hands on this racquet for a demo and my friends couldn’t stop raving about how cool this racquet looked. While playing its really arm friendly, maneuverability was excellent, really nice to swing. Tons of control, I was able to hit my spots and managed to put some spin on my shots too. I can take nice full swings with this frame. I strung this racquet up with Babolat RPM Blast at 54 lbs.
5 Starslove the cosmetics!

I really enjoyed getting the chance to play with this new racquet. Obviously the best part of it is the cosmetics, perfect for this time of year with the 4th of July! With this being a similar racquet to the Aero Storm, this racquet has a slightly thinner beam, making it super flexible and maneuverable on the court. The 11oz weight and 98 in head size makes this a racquet for any intermediate to advanced player. I noticed a slightly stiff feel with this racquet, but nothing that couldn’t be adjusted to in the long run. Overall I noticed great control, power and feel with this one. I strung mine with Babolat Xcel at 53lbs.
