The new Pure Drive Roddick Plus is 0.5 in. longer and is updated with a new Cortex Dampening Interface for even better feel. Only those frequencies that enhance feel are permitted to pass through the Cortex filter. Maintains the use of GT (Graphite Tungsten) which adds a hybrid of braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments throughout the entire racquet.

Program Details

Cost: Demo cost is $6.95 per racquet. Shipping includes delivery to your door and return shipping back to Midwest Sports. Demo up to 3 racquets at a time. Our program ships anywhere in the continental U.S.

String Maintenance: Each DEMO racquet will arrive to the customer with a high quality Multifilament type string. The DEMO racquet will be strung at the middle tension of the manufactures recommended tension range.

Delivered to your door!: UPS delivery takes 2-3 days to most areas. You will receive an e-mail the minute they are shipped with a tracking number. Use them for 7 days from the day you receive them. Example: Receive them on Monday, keep them until the next Monday. To return to Midwest Sports you may drop off at any UPS store or follow instructions on return label for alternate drop-off options. Simply place the label included with the demos on the box. Midwest Sports will be notified by UPS when the racquets are picked up. Please Note: Due to possible demo maintenance (re-stringing, re-gripping) prior to being shipped out, demo orders are not guaranteed to ship in the same time frame as new product orders. Occasional delays are possible, but are typically no longer than 1-2 days.

Forget to Return: In order for everyone to take advantage of the demo program we ask you return the demos after 7 days. Late fees on racquets not returned within the 7 day period are $2.00 per day per racquet, up to 7 days. If the racquets are more than 7 days late, your credit card will be charged the full price of the racquets.

Babolat has kept the specifications on the new Pure Drive Roddick Plus virtually the same as the previous generation Pure Drive Roddick Cortex + and Pure Drive Roddick GT +. Great player-oriented tweener (between powerful/controlled) frame for those who prefer a Pure Drive with a heavier heft and longer length for more pop. 100 sq. in. head, 11.80 ounce strung weight, and 326 swingweight provide an excellent balance of power and control. Meant to more closely replicate the weight of Andy's racquet, the Pure Drive Roddick + provides a little more stiffness and power, provided you are able to handle the additional weight and length.

I demoed 2 Babolat racquets. This racquet seemed a little too rigid for me so I wound up buying the Aero Pro Drive GT (Nadal model). I can't say anything bad about this racquet, it's just not right for me.
