The Pure Strike 100 is part of the latest update to Babolat's Pure Strike racquet family. The Pure Strike 100 features a slightly larger head size than the 16x19, coming in at 100 square inches. This racquet is a very fast, control oriented frame that provides excellent feel with added stability. Comfortable, responsive feel on impact. The look of the new Pure Strike's are updated with a clean white and orange cosmetic.
The new Pure Strike 100 features Babolat's new Hybrid Frame Construction -- wider beam sections at 3/9/12 o'clock and at the throat of the frame enhancing the overall stability of the frame. Babolat's new FSI Power Technology -- an optimized string pattern that was designed with wider spacing within the crosses, providing additional power.
The Pure Strike 100 features a 100 square inch head size with a 21/23/21mm tapered beam. Weighing in at 11.2 ounce strung weight, the Pure Strike 100 will be a little easier to swing than the 16x19, while still maintaining a nice balance of control and feel.

I’ve tried the previous version of the Pure strike before, so when I heard about this new version I was excited to give it a chance. The older version felt a little stiff, so I was hoping Babolat made some improvements for the new one. When I first tried it out, I noticed right away that there was a softer feel. This immediately excited me and I was happy to continue testing it out. I found that I increased power on my ground strokes and serves, as well as first serve percentage. I like to hit a flatter ball, so I felt like the 16x19 pattern aimed slightly towards spin, but nothing that couldn’t be adjusted to. I would recommend this for any player looking for feel and power to advance their game.

I am a 3.5 level player who plays with a group of friends in a weekly league. I have played with the Pure Strike racquets in the past, so ideally I wanted to check out the newest updates from Babolat. The first thing that struck me was the soft feel this new version provided me. I managed to create pretty good pace on my groundstrokes with a good mixture of control. I typically do not operate with a lot of spin, but the 16x19 string pattern provided me an opportunity to tinker with that phase of my game. I recommend this racquet to player's who want a modern fast frame that truly hones in on the control aspect of the game.
