After a long search I have found shoe that fits and is comfortable without sacrificing control on the court.
Great heal hold down Fantastic insole. (I normally use orthotics to correct pronation) but so far I have not experienced any ankle roll over. now lets see if the soles hold up.
The SFX is a good choice for a wider foot. My EE width foot is a little snug but still very comfortable. Break-in is very quick and after a few sets you'll feel like you have worn these shoes for 6 months. I do use orthotics which can be put on over the thin insert or remove the insert. The insert itself that comes with the SFX is quite good but it does break down rather quickly. Cushioning is excellent and stability is very good. The only downside is that the outside stitching just in front of the large green area did split while there was still good tread left; however, at $75...this is a great shoe!
I was looking for a comfortable wide shoes that wouldn't cramp my toes. I was told to try Babolat SFX shoes. The wimbledon were the only SFX available and after using it now for a few weeks I have to say that they are very comfortable, roomy and very good. Finally I have found a normal shoes and I don't have to go hunting for a 4E width.
Great shoe used to wear K-Swiss Bigshot but pro shop stopped carrying it, Tried these and had to get another pair as a spare right away. No break in fits well looks sharp.
Finally, a shoe for wide feet that is both comfortable and tough. In particular, the insoles are fantastic. Many have cut corners on cheap insoles lately making what could be good shoes awfully uncomfortable but these have actually solved that issue and more. The only complaint is the laces are not durable at all. In fact, at the tie points, they wore completely through after only 5 matches. Overall, a great shoe and a safe buy.
Wore them for the first time today...they are great!
I am a teaching pro and this shoe combines comfort and playability for when I have to be on my feet all day and switch between playing and teaching on court from hour to hour.
I have several different brand for tennis shoes, start with New Balance, Lotto, Wilson, and then finally I found Babolat SFX tennis shoes are perfect fit for my little wide foot. My first Babolat SFX is white with Blue accent, I bought in October 2014, I am a 3.5 tennis player, I played 1.5 hour a day, 3 days a week, the first pair last for 10 months. Now this pair is a great price, and I just bought another pair with Red accent, because I wonder the Babolat not make these shoes any more, I planned to buy another pair same color for Champion Wimbledon soon.
Extremely comfortable tennis shoes that provide good cushioning and support. Recommended by the local store who said most of the pros buy it because they are on their feet all day. I agree. I hope they don't discontinue this great shoe.
I like it. Plays well on omni, grass and hard. Good feel and comfort and cushiony, nice fit. Only a bit chunky as all babolats are.
