An all-new oversized addition to Babolat's game-improvement category, the XS 109 utilizes new Xtra Sweetspot technology. By positioning a more-forgiving grommet strip in the 3:00 and 9:00 positions on the head, the sweetspot is enlarged when compared with other racquets of comparable head size. Ergonomic Smart Grip (that is also removable, if preferred) for more secure grip and enhanced maneuverability. 0.2 inch added length for added reach and power.
Offering a generous sweetspot and lightweight feel, the XS 109 offers excellent maneuverability without sacrificing stability or comfort for the beginning to intermediate player.
The 109 square inch headsize, 32/26mm wide beam, 9.6 ounce weight adds up to comfortable power, Babolat-style.
4 Stars More Power?

Racket has a nice feel to it, light and slightly head light which I like for volleys. My big swings don't get the same umphhh as a head heavy pure drive Babolat would. I thin k it would be a decent racket for someone who doesn't swing too hard or fast. Also someone with not too much strength, older players or 3.0-3.5 players would benefit from the easy power off the strings.
5 Stars Best to hit with

Large head surface, very light weight, great response without much effort, excellent control. I always liked a large head but light racquet and this is the best I have played with yet. I am 72yrs.old and play about 8-10hrs.a week doubles and my game has vastly improved since using this racquet. I am about to order another just to have in case of need as a backup.
