Generous hitting space, comfortable, good stability on off center hits due to 330 swing weight/head heavy, maneuverability is slightly better than other racquets with a 330sw due to its overall light weight, open string pattern technically could provide more spin, good at returning hard hitters even with an aggressive stroke due to stability of 330sw, I can do hard flat serves just as good as any other racquet (tested side by side with babolat aero 100' head size). Many may say oversize racquets are to powerful with no control, to me they're not. Its all about playstyle, string, and tension. I'm able to fully unleash on a stroke but if I am not mindful of where I am on the court, motion of my stroke, where/how im contacting the ball and the angle of my racquet head I could easily hit it out but the same would go for any other racquet of the same swing weight/string FOR ME. Since im use to bigger racquets I love this racquet. This Racquet does have a much much bigger frame and im not talking about the head size but the width of the beam. It may look heavy but its hollow, and the handle area is alot more hollow. It does have a trap door to add weight to the handle. Even though it is hollow I feel it is still more dampened then a regular racquet. If you're aggressive hitter use a copoly on the stiffer side strung between 48-52, I can't really say about passive playstyle but maybe multifillament/synthetic gut 57-60. If I can upload videos of me playing with this racquet to prove to you that you can hit hard/consistent with oversize i'll try to edit this or link a vid when I have time. If you are not use to controlling an oversize racquet start out wilson energy xl and restring it with volkl cyclon at 48.5 tension and practice so you don't end up wasting money and being frustated about your purchase. For those looking for a arm friendly easy racquet this is an amazing choice too as far as I know. I am 22 years old and this is my favorite racquet and i'm thinking of purchasing a second one.
My overall experience with midwestsports was excellent and better than tennisware house, due to lower prices on the same products, free shipping, and faster delivery on their end. They did accidently string my racquet with the wrong string I THINK, but I think they strung it with a more expensive string since I can recognize it which is which since I used both before. Asked for volkl cyclone but got dunlop black widow. So I can't complain. Since I live in the chicago area I got my racquet in about 3 days with their free shipping, and their warehouse is in Ohio so it isn't that far. If I ordered from tennis warehouse it would took longer since their warehouse is in California.
62 year old player who likes to play doubles. My game is slowing down, so I moved over to the game improvement racquets some years back. Tried out this Dunlop frame, and it provides so much power. I have a slow to moderate styled swing speed and a compact swing. This racquet is ultra lightweight and is really comfortable. I can hit very powerful shots without those big swings. Really recommend this racquet to a player with a slower swing and likes to play doubles. Power & comfort is the name of the game with this racquet.
Thank you Dunlop! I love the racquet. Senior doubles player now and never wanted to replace my old Head FP 10! This has the power and comfort I need. Great at the net and I even hit an ace or two now!! Whatever keeps this old lady on the court is a good thing. I tried so many other racquets. Happy with my new choice!
