Dunlop Biomimetic 400 Tour Tennis Racquet

The Dunlop Biomimetic 400 Tour is a slightly heavier option in their player oriented "400" 'tweener racquets with a striking new black chrome and green cosmetic. Best suited for an intermediate player with a moderate to fast swing, the Dunlop Biomimetic 400 Tour offers more forgiveness and pop than the Dunlop Biomimetic 200 & 300, thanks to its wider, stiffer beam, but a more controlled feel than its 500 series counterparts. Head light balance and 308 swingweight ensure versatility around the court and open 16x18 string pattern for added spin potential.

Constructed with 100% premium Aerogel enhanced graphite and features Dunlop's new Biomimetic technologies: Aeroskin to reduce aerodynamic drag, making the racket faster through the air; HM6 Carbon to enhance racquet feel, and Gecko-Tac grip for ultimate control.

The concept of Biomimetics is the study of the natural world to inspire the design of engineering solutions and cutting edge technology. Application of Biomimetic design can be seen in a diverse range of real world sporting examples include the super strong crash cells in Formula 1 cars inspired by honeycomb and hydrodynamic swimsuits inspired by shark skin.

5 Stars Incredible deal

from OH wrote (February 24, 2015):

After demoing and purchasing several racquets over the last year plus I feel like I have finally found a winner. I originally passed on this due to fears over the low swingweight. This racquet felt stable against some of the hardest serves and forehands I will face at the 4.0 level. Solid & manueverable on volley and easy to whip through for ground strokes. I have often encountered issues with elbow and shoulder tinderness when trying new racquets and this has not been the case with the 400 Tour. Pleasant surprise to grab this racquet at the current sale price. 4.0 player. Using Dunlop Silk 16g.

5 Stars "HULK"

from TX wrote (February 22, 2015):

The 400T is a beast! Probably the biggest plus for me is the ridiculous amount of topspin I am able to produce with this racket. The racket is very easy to use due to a huge sweet spot. I also want to mention that I get a bunch of compliments on its looks as well.

4 Stars "Sweet Stick"

from OH wrote (December 30, 2014):

The Dunlop Biomimetic 400 Tour has great feel, control and decent power from the baseline. Can "pop" flat serves and slice outwide, too with ease. Can hit out with this racket depending on string set-up without spraying balls out of the court. The only dislike is that volleys seem unstable. Must have very "soft hands" and not "muscle" the tennis ball while volleying with this stick.

5 Stars Excellent racquet

Like: Really fun racquet. Very maneuverable, huge sweet spot, goes "thwack" in the most satisfying way when I hit groundstrokes. Very handy on the serve as well. Dislike: It's a little unstable if my form isn't quite right.
