The Dunlop Biomimetic F3.0 Tour is an new, player-oriented update to the Biomimetic 300 Tour. Offers the outstanding control of a moderately thin 22mm beam with the added forgiveness of a 98 sq. inch head. Refinements have been made to Dunlop's Biomimetic technologies: Aeroskin Cx to reduce aerodynamic drag, making the racket faster through the air; BioFibre to enhance racquet feel, and MoS2 grommets for more efficient string movement. Jurgen Melzer's racquet of choice.

Geared to the advanced player with a moderate to fast swing, the Dunlop Biomimetic F3.0 Tour offers more heft than the Dunlop Biomimetic M3.0, weighing in at 11.4 ounces strung. 317 swingweight for added depth on your shots and dense 18x20 string pattern for added stringbed stiffness and control.

Extracted from stem fibers from plants, BioFibre is stronger than steel and lighter than carbon and woven into the shaft of the racquet. This fiber acts to filter shock 18% better than standard construction for enhanced feel.

Dunlop Aeroskin Cx offers reduced aerodynamic drag for 36% more efficient racquet head speed.

MoS2 grommets feature a new polymer lubricant that reduces string friction by 27% for improved string movement through the frame, offering more power and spin.

Positives:

  • 18x20 string pattern made the racquet very accurate
  • The head size is just right for this racquet.

Negatives:

Could have been a little heavier but the weight would still be alright for a lot of people

The racquet played great, the strokes were smooth as well as fast. The racquet provided excellent pace and spin on every shot.


Is this a good update to previous model?

This new model played significantly better than last year’s model. The overall feel, power, and spin is much better than previous year’s model.


Any major things that stand out on this frame?

Nothing in particular stood out on this frame, positive or negative.


What player level would you suggest for this frame?

Players who consistently play on a regular basis should enjoy the qualities the racquet brings to the table.

Very maneuverable and extremely accurate with the 18 main string pattern. Has a subtle ?muted? feel to it that I liked. Just enough weight to it, but not too heavy.
