As I am getting my son more and more into the game of tennis, we mutually decided it was time to get him a nice racquet to really invest his time in the game! He tried several racquets and ultimately ended up in the Head line, as these felt the most comfortable for him. He had it narrowed down to this one and the Graphene XT Extreme, which are both pretty similar. He found that this one has many of the same qualities as that racquet offered through a lighter version, which ended up selling him on this racquet. He is still quite young (11) so he needed something lighter to get some power on his shots. This racquet has all of the power, control, and spin that he needs to advance his game to the next level! I am really starting to see him excel on the court and that is super exciting. This racquet is light and very maneuverable on the court. Would recommend it to any “tweener” player!
My daughter is a sophomore and in her second year of playing. Moved up from an older oversize Wilson to this and she has really liked it. It is still light and easy for her to move around with, She is getting good power on ground strokes and still has control. Her only complaint is it is a little slow at the net. We use Sensation and have no arm issues.
Little different with the rounder shaped head, struggled to find the sweet spot. at times. The head shape does allow a little more spin potential. It is very maneuverable, really easy to swing, manages to generate a lot of power. The maneuverability was definitely noticeable on my defensive returns. One downside was that I did struggle with control when I approached the net. Was content with the demo, not sure if i’ll purchase.
A very solid racket. This is much better than my previous one.
