I decided to demo a few new Head racquets and this was one of my choices. I noticed the updated technology in this right away with the faster swing and added power. I love how Head integrated the adaptive string technology so you could choose which string pattern to use. The great thing about this is that you can switch back and forth between patterns whenever you want! One thing I need in a racquet is a light weight, but this racquet seemed to be a little too light (coming in at 9.6oz). Regardless I could still tell this is an awesome frame. It felt comfortable and maneuverable on the court. I felt confident in swinging through my shots and changing up my shot selection (spin, flat, slice, etc). Since I like to play with spin, the 16x19 pattern worked perfectly for me. Like I said before, an all around great racquet that turned out to be too light. I would recommend to a beginner looking for a light frame or anyone who needs a super light racquet.
I tried both string patterns out when I demoed the Rev Pro. Like to play with a lot of power and spin, so my game is more tailored to the 16x16 string pattern. Traditional 16x19 pattern just offers more control. It was a bit too light for my liking. Needed to add a little more weight to manage out my control better. I didn’t notice anything different in terms of the length of the racquet, it is advertised as a shorter length at 26.8 inches. Beginning players should demo.
I only had a chance to use it once, and currently have the prior model. I love the feel of this one, it is a bit lighter and the head size is not too big as some of them are becoming. Good control, more power. Aesthetically pleasing..
IG+笻m loving the graphene xt instinct rev pro! I upgraded from the graphene instinct recently. It is extremely maneuverable and creates loads of spin. I find it slightly more powerful than the previous model as well. I also really like that it features ASP or Adaptive string pattern.. I chose the 16x16 string pattern because I found the sweet spot to be more forgiving than the 16x19 pattern.
I bought this racquet for my son. HeG+笻s recently started to play competitively in USTA tournaments. The smaller grip size options and lighter weight made it perfect for him. The racquet also has a great looking color scheme. HeG+笻s been playing really well with this racquet and I can definitely see improvement in his game.
