The Head Graphene XT Radical Pro is the heaviest and most aggressive new XT racquet in the Graphene family. Re-engineered Graphene technology, Graphene XT racquets are 30% stronger providing an optimized weight distribution for a faster swing and more power. The Head Graphene XT Radical Pro now allows an even better distribution of weight from the shaft to the tip and grip, which results in more power and an improved energy transfer for a faster game.
Endorsed by Andy Murray, the most aggressive racquet of the series also features a new unique cosmetic update. If you are in search of more power, then you will love this heavier frame! The Head Radical Pro racquet can be equipped with a longer pro-player cap for a very powerful and unique feel.
For Optimal String Performance Head Recommends:
Durability:Head Hawk Touch
Playability:Head Velocity MLT
Note: Head does not include a cover with this racquet.
I decided to try all of the new Radicals and this one was definitely the toughest to get used to. This racquet is really heavy and aggressive when you aren’t used to this type of frame. If you’re searching for some more power in your game, you should definitely try out this racquet. After testing this I realized this is suited for a more advanced player, however I still got a good feel for the racquet. This racquet offered good stability and maneuverability on the court as well as control. I was able to get some added spin on my shots as well. This racquet just turned out to be too heavy for me in the long run. I preferred the Instinct series over this one.

I have not tried a Radical since the Liquid Metal. Tried a demo of this and the update is better. Always felt to Radical was to sloppy. This has the extra pop and control is still there. 4.5 player using Pro Line 2. Great setup for control.
3 StarsSolid offering but out of my league

Pretty demanding frame, that is heavy and suited towards the more advance player. This racquet may have been a little out of my league. I felt some pretty serious arm fatigue after demoing this racquet for a couple hours. I preferred the Speed series to the Radical’s. The racquet did offer pretty good stability and a little more controllable pop. If my skills continue to develop I will revisit this frame down the road.

I purchased this racquet cause i use to play with Head years ago. I am very impressed, I have been playing with Bibolat aero pro and have had elbow issues. Of course I know it might be me or the strings but have played with the Head racquet three times now without any pain in elbow.
