$119.95 when buying 2+!The Head Youtek IG Speed MP 300 is a new update to the Speed line, offering a slightly lighter, more forgiving and spin friendly option in Head's players racquet range. 11.1 ounce strung weight, combined with a thin 20mm beam, 100 square inch head and open 16x19 string pattern combine for a very versatile specification not offered before in the Speed series. Introduces the use of lightweight Innegra fiber which in conjunction with Head carbon composite improves shock absorption and stability. Continues the use of d3o and DuPont Teflon grommets as found in the previous generation Speed MP. This combination of specifications adds up to a nicely controlled frame for advanced players, seeking the added punch of a longer length frame. A more open 16x19 string pattern than Head typically has offered in its players frames makes the Speed MP 300 more spin friendly for topspin players.
The IG Speed MP 300 also uses a DuPont Teflon grommet system that reduces friction. Less friction means maintaining more of the strings energy, and a resulting slight increase in power.
Note: Head does not include a cover with this racquet.
Head continues d3o technology in the Head YouTek line, and is a "smart" material in that it behaves differently under varying dynamic loading or impact. Integrated in the frame lay-up and positioned in the shaft area (where the racquet flexes the most), d3o seeks to help players maximize performance on all shots. High speed impacts lock d3o together within nanoseconds at the molecular level, stiffening the frame to provide maximum power. Conversely, on slower speed impacts, the d3o molecules absorb the impact providing softer touch for better feel.

bought this as backup. Have been using for over 6 months. My forehand improved after using for about 15 minutes. I figured the heavier version works for Novak so why not? I play 3.5 doubles, 56 yo. Highly recommend it.
