The Head MicroGel Prestige Mid is the latest version of Head's hugely successful player-oriented Prestige series, inspired by numerous Head Touring pros. The Microgel Prestige offers the ultimate control of Head's players racquets, utilizing a midsize head in combination with a very dense string pattern. Surprisingly maneuverable thanks to a nicely weighted head light balance.
Head has kept most specifications consistent with the Flexpoint Prestige, but now with the added benefit of MicroGel technology. MicroGel offers aggressive, competitive players ultimate feel, unique touch, and added stability. When combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet head, MicroGel deforms and compresses upon ball impact, uniformly absorbing and distributing the impact load around the entire frame, creating a rock-solid feel while offering extra stability against twisting.
