The Head Youtek Graphene Speed S introduces the use of Graphene - the world's lightest and strongest material. Allows for an optimal redistribution of weight from tip to grip, producing increased swingweight without sacrificing maneuverability, for more penetrating shots. Updates the second-lightest racquet in the Graphene Speed series and offers forgiveness for a player with a more moderate swing speed. A 100 square inch head, slightly wider 22mm beam, and 10.4 oz. strung weight add up to lighter, more maneuverable option to the Speed Pro and Speed MP for intermediate level players. A more open 16x19 string pattern makes the Graphene Speed S a more spin friendly for topspin players. Note: Head does not include a cover with this racquet. Midwest Sports only ships Head products to domestic addresses in the U.S. and U.S. Territories.

HEADs new core technology introduces the world’s strongest and lightest material: Graphene. Discovered in 2004, Graphene consists of a single two-dimensional layer of carbon atoms. This material has a breaking strength 200 times greater than steel, which makes it the ultimate substance for creating new HEAD tennis racquet frames with exceptional properties. Graphene technology allows for the first time an optimal redistribution of weight in HEAD racquets. Through the use of Graphene in the shaft, the weight in the middle part of the tennis racquet can be reduced. Instead, weight can be shifted from the racquet shaft to more functionally relevant areas in the tip and grip. This unique construction provides players with an unmatched maneuverability and an increased swingweight. In other words, a racquet with Graphene is easier to swing and enables even more powerful shots.
Review Summary (Based on 1 Reviews)
I was looking for a new racquet, and I loved this one. Despite the head being slightly smaller than the Prince EX03 Red, I was able to adjust easily. The weight of the racquet is evenly distributed, which is a lot easier for me to follow through with my swings. I didn't lose any control, nor have I sacrificed my net game. Also, I am able to give more spin, when I need to.
