The Head Youtek IG Prestige S is a new, lighter-weight addition to the player-oriented Prestige series, updated with lightweight Innegra fiber and a striking new red/silver graphic. The Youtek IG Prestige S offers much of the control you would expect, while utilizing a more forgiving mid plus head in combination with a lighter 11.4 oz. strung weight. Slightly wider 22mm beam and more open 16x19 string pattern for the largest sweet spot in the Prestige line.
Head utilizes lightweight Innegra fiber which in conjunction with Head carbon composite improves shock absorption and stability. d3o "smart" material which behaves differently under varying dynamic loading or impact. Integrated in the frame lay-up and positioned in the shaft area (where the racquet flexes the most), d3o seeks to help players maximize performance on all shots. High speed impacts lock d3o together within nanoseconds at the molecular level, stiffening the frame to provide maximum power. Conversely, on slower speed impacts, the d3o molecules absorb the impact providing softer touch for better feel.
