I pulled a calf muscle a few months ago and after years of playing in the Prince T22 needed a different type of shoe. I ordered these a couple of years ago but hated the way they looked so they were collecting dust in my closet. So, I thought I'd pull them out and give them a second shot (no pun intended). So far they are the ONLY shoe has that hasn't re-offended my calf. I play several times a week on hartrue and hard courts and I've tried Asics, a different Prince shoe and my same T22s and these are just the best at keeping me injury-free. They run true to size and don't require any break-in time either. Having said that... They are just plain ugly on my feet. I wish K-Swiss would offer something a little jazzier but they're working well for me and I plan on buying another pair in case they're planning on discontinuing the shoes.
Finally, a pair of tennis shoes with decent room in the toe box. The PT22 came close, but nothing as good as these. I play year round tennis on clay and hard courts. As soon as the treads begin to wear, I get a new pair and use the older ones for hard courts. I'm on my third pair and hope they are never discontinued. If they came in other colors, that would be a bonus!
I just ordered my third pair of these shoes. I hope they are never discontinued. They have room in the toe box while fitting comfortably snug in the heel. Although they don't have a 6-month outsole guarantee, they have lasted that long for me. I play an average of 4-5 times a week year-round. Shoes from other brands that have a 6-month guarantee have lasted me only about 4 months. The toe-drag protection lasts too. I also like that they don't look heavy and clunky, and the classic colors go with everything. Ventilation is a bonus.
My daughter started wearing these shoes last year for high school tennis. She needed a new pair this year and her coach did not have these shoes any more, so we ordered them at Midwest
