Gave this racquet a demo session and boy did it provide power. My game is starting to age, and I need racquets that help produce more power than I can provide. This game-improvement model accomplished wonders for my game. Unique 14x21 string pattern allows for a large sweet spot and an extra source of power. Comfort was sufficient and up around the net I achieved excellent depth on volleys. 109 square inch head provides a nice bit of head size, but not too large. Easy to swing with the 10.3 ounces strung weight. Thicker beam allows for more stability.
I've hit with the Asics 125 and Asics 116 previously and liked their playability. However, the 109 is the best serving racquet I've ever hit with and I felt it was more than adequate on groundies, volleys and overheads too. Asics has a winner here in my book.
