Babolat Drive Lite Blue/White Tennis Racquet
New for 2014, the Babolat Drive Lite is updated with a new blue and white cosmetic, the racquet features Cortex Dampening System located in the two sides of the yoke. The innovative shape is designed to dampen the vibrations in order to bring to advanced players the best compromise between comfort and feel at ball impact.
Other than the addition of the Cortex filter (and a snazzy new paint scheme) Babolat has kept the specifications on this new version of the Drive Lite w/ Cortex the very similar to that of the 2013 Drive Z-Lite. The Babolat Drive Lite still has the feel of a "players" racquet with a solid, stable, comfortable feel, but with a broader appeal due to its lighter weight. This racquet is geared to the intermediate to advanced player possessing a longer, faster swing, who will appreciate the slightly lighter and more maneuverable feel versus the regular Pure Drive.

I just started playing on a 3.0 women’s tennis team. I selected the Babolat Drive Lite because it’s very beginner friendly. It’s light and whippy, but still powerful on my groundstrokes. I’m very comfortable with this racquet in my hand. Even though I’m pretty new to the game, I’m seeing big improvements on my serve. I love the what it does for my volleys. I feel very quick and effective at the net. Overall I’m very happy with my racquet choice!
