Babolat Drive Z Lite Tennis Racquet

Babolat Drive Z Lite Tennis Racquet
Description

New for 2013, the Babolat Drive Z-Lite is updated with a new cosmetic, the racquet features Cortex Dampening System located in the two sides of the yoke. The innovative shape is designed to dampen the vibrations in order to bring to advanced players the best compromise between comfort and feel at ball impact.

Other than the addition of the Cortex filter (and a snazzy new paint scheme) Babolat has kept the specifications on this new version of the Drive Z-Lite w/ Cortex the same as the outgoing 2011 Drive Z-Lite. The Babolat Drive Z-Lite still has the feel of a "players" racquet with a solid, stable, comfortable feel, but with a broader appeal due to its lighter weight. This racquet is geared to the intermediate to advanced player possessing a longer, faster swing, who will appreciate the slightly lighter and more maneuverable feel versus the regular Pure Drive.

For Optimal String Performance Babolat Recommends:
  • Durability: Babolat RPM Blast Team
  • Playability: Babolat Xcel Power
  • Hybrid: Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 16 - Babolat Xcel

Midwest Sports only ships Babolat products to domestic addresses in the U.S. and U.S. Territories.

bought this for my daughter. This is a faster swinging raquet than her previous model and with a control string has greatly improved her game in as little as 1 week. She has more confidence and feels she can hit the ball more consistently especially when running from side to side along the baseline. Her one handed backhand returns have tremendously improved

I am in my forties, and I've been taking lessons for only a few months. Since I am new to tennis, I am not super-knowledgeable about racquets. That being said, I like this racquet. I am happy with the weight and grip, and I think it is a good value at $89.

Great Racquet
