The Babolat Pure Control offers a 2014 update to the Babolat Pure Storm series. This racquet is a great option for players with a long fast swing, looking for a flexible racquet, with a longer contact time between ball and racquet, for perfect control. Babolat has developed a new material, Flex Carbon , with less density of carbon fibers for more flexibility. Flex Carbon technology is featured at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock locations of the racquet, allowing for the ball to stay on the stringbed longer. Woofer technology eliminates any string lock-up, allowing the strings to move freely and enhancing the feeling of the ball.
With a 21mm straight beam and a 98 square inch headsize, this racquet provides great maneuverability to go along with superior control. The Pure Control is a great option for intermediate players with faster swings looking for a more control styled racquet.

My son likes this racket. He replaced his Pulsion which wore out. The racket feels good in his hand and is well balanced. It is heavier and he enjoys the control.
A magic wand!
Literally is what it feels like sometimes. I'm a power player who is trying to reign in some control, and as I can already hit plenty of topspin, my coach gave me an old one of these to try out. I loved it. Thought a control racquet might not be for me because it would reduce spin, but I can throw my whole body into a shot, lots of topspin and power, and the ball just kind of curves in to the court to stay in. The control is next level. I'm serious, call out where you want to place the ball and look how many times you hit where you call. This racquet gets all the stars and will be my sidekick for as long as they make them!
Nice racquet to compliment one I have already. Play 2-4 times per week and enjoy a strong topspin stroke. Well strung and ready to go right out of the box.
Controlled Like the Name Says!
Great racquet! IG+笻ve been playing with the Babolat Pure Storm for years and decided to try out the Pure control. I can barely feel a difference. I usually play with my wife and kids about twice a week so this racquet allows me to control the ball and run them all over the court. Definitely would suggest this racquet to anyone who is naturally powerful and looking to add control to their game
Solid racquet for aggressive play
IG+笻m a 5.0 womenG+笻s usta player and usually play about 4-5 times a week.. This racquet definitely has great control and stability! I really like it because it doesnG+笻t take away from my power. IG+笻m a bit of a heavy baseline swinger, so this racquet really helped me to better hit my targets. I used to play with the pure storm and this version is a little bit lighter and easier on my elbow. My volley game, which is usually the weakest part of my game has improved a little bit. The volleys feel a little more crisp. So far, so good Babolat!!
Great all around
I take big swings at the ball and need to hit it just right to keep from going long. Someone suggested I get a more control oriented stick. i changed from the Babolat Aero to the Pure control and I love this racket. It still has plenty of pop but it allows me to swing away and still have plenty of control.
Good but light
This racquet was a little on the light side, but felt very stable when making shots. With the balance on the racquet I felt myself able to still make powerful shots and get them where I wanted. If you always need something a little heavier you can go for the tour version.
