Babolat has kept the specifications on the new Pure Drive Lite in between the Pure Drive GT and the Drive Z-Lite in terms of weight. The Pure Drive Lite remains a great option for a player not quite ready for the weight of the Pure Drive, but requires the playability provided by its tweener (between powerful/controlled) design. 100 sq. in. head, 10.60 ounce strung weight, and 293 swingweight provide an excellent balance of power, control, and maneuverability.

Demoed this last week & really liked it. It's a half ounce lighter & only a point & a half headlight more than my Speed Elite. Had good pop on my ground strokes & was able to volley well. Because it was strung to demo, 16 gauge Gamma TNT, had to adjust my serve a bit, but was able hit some hard flat serves. However, it was a bit tougher to generate spin on my slice & kick serves. I figure if I had it strung with my normal string of choice, those would come around. I have a couple more I'd like to demo before purchasing one, but this is definitely one in the running.
