That is, the Pure Drive GT Plus remains the definitive tweener (between powerful/controlled) frame. 100 sq. in. head, 27.5 inch length, 11.30 ounce strung weight, and 321 swingweight provide an excellent balance of power, control, and added reach for additional pop.

Great tennis racquet. Good power and open string pattern allows for a lot of spin. By far the best racquet I've played with.
Babolat Pure Drive Plus
I am a 5.5-6.0 level player who was looking for a racquet with some more pop. I had been using the Prince O3 Tour for many years which is a racquet with lots of flex. The Pure Drive is a much more stiff racquet and Ive found I can generate easier pace without having to swing crazy fast. Because of the easier power generated by the Pure Drive Ive found that the racquet is also very consistent because I don't feel the need to swing so hard. An added bonus to this racquet is how it feel when return a hard hit ball. There is very little twisting or turning with racquet giving your a very solid feel. I have a very hard serve but sometimes struggle to keep my hard flat serves consistent due to my height of 5 foot 10. The Pure Drive Plus is half an inch longer which has helped my consistency with this. While other reviewers have commented about the extra half inch messing with their timing I was able to feel comfortable with the extra length within a week and by then I was not even thinking about it at all.
We bought this for my son and he loves it. He said it helps put top spin on the ball and gives more power to his shots.
I'm 16 and I bought this racquet for my high school season and It only took a good week to really get comfortable with it. You really get to appreciate the extra length when it comes to serving, the added height with my 5'2" frame really helped and allowed for ease with overheads. Sometimes with my given height the racquet tends to scratch the court a little with the top but no real damage and holds up nice and firm. Babolat did great with this one.
I bought this Racket for my son and he just can't think in other racket that he play before. I tested on my serve and I found that made my shot go on the box with not too much of the effort. I practice with him and this racket show a tremendous spin.
