X-Sidertechnology that increases the sweetspot by 10% to bring forgiveness on off-center hits. Response Woofer technology with new PEBAX material injected to the grommets and bumper which provides a straighter more accurate shot off the stringbed. Stabilizer technology located in the throat of the racquet for improved torsional stability at ball impact.
With a 21/23/21mm EVO-Beam, a 98 square inch headsize and a strung weight of 11.9 ounces, this racquet provides the ultimate feel and control for players with faster more developed strokes. Love this racquet
I love this racquet. Used to use a Prince Diablo and had trouble finding something similar. Gray on grounds trikes and at the net.
Good power and control
This racquet is a nice frame for an intermediate to advanced player. Nothing about it really “wowed” me, but I could tell that it provided good enough control, power, and feel for a mid level player. The weight of this racquet gives you enough power to really plow through shots at the baseline and get some extra pop on your serve. You definitely have to have enough strength to maneuver this racquet on the court because of its heavy weight. For those who are looking for a stiffer frame and want to pound balls from the baseline I would definitely suggest this racquet. The best part about this racquet is the power and control it provides. I would recommend stringing it with a softer string for added feel.
Very good racquet, amazing price !!! Very good site !! Easy to shop around !!! I will buy again and thanks for doing so much promotions !!!
didn't wow me
This racquet did not play too well for me. I am a 3.5 flat hitter. I was able to put more spin on this ball but it has a very muted feel to it and leaves me a bit disconnected from the feel of the game. It was good on serve, but groundstrokes were muted. It also felt heavy at the net even though it was lighter than the racquet I usually play with. The one thing I did like about it was that it generated a really nice slice one handed backhand compared to my current Head Microgel Radical MP (leaded). I don't have a lot bad to say about it but it just wasn't what I was looking for or expecting out of a Babolat. The paint job is really nice, though. I may try the Pure Drive 2015 next.
If you hit it right its a winner
The new Babolat PS Tour took a few days of hitting to really find its sweet spot. At first it was hard to hit but when you caught the ball just right it felt amazing. The extra heft gives you the confidence to hit through the ball on volley and serve. Once you master it you won't go back. You can place the ball and crush it with the same racket. There is no compromise on control or power, it's all in one package. Does take a strong arm bc it is a little heavy but I imagine if Chuck Norris played tennis this would be his stick.
Demo Program Gr8; Racket so-so
First of all kudos to Midwest Sports for a fabulous demo program - low cost, efficient and top notch. As far as the racket is concerned I found it lacking in heft and stiffness and so I am going to purchase it.
Blade on steroids
great ball control, the power was pleasant surprise and stable on off center shots
