Description

The Head Liquidmetal 4 still offers some of the controlled feel of Head's player's racquets, but with a more forgiving sweetspot and significantly lighter weight. More forgiving than the Liquidmetal 2, but more controlled than the Liquidmetal 8, the Liquidmetal 4 is geared toward an intermediate player with a moderate to fast swing who requires a slightly larger sweetspot than traditional player's racquets. Open string pattern further enhances spin and size of the sweetspot. NoShox handle reduces vibrations by 27% without dampening feel.

Note: This racquet is pre-strung with Head Synthetic Gut 16 at Head's recommended tension of 57 lbs.

Loved it 10 years ago and I still do. Has the perfect blend of power and control.Still has good stability to handle the 3.5 level game. The balance and extra length help with a little more power and reach. Probably mental, but the extra 2" on the head just feel bigger than all the current 100".

I have been playing with a Head Liquidmetal racquet for a few years now that I absolutely love, but it is in bad shape and has been discontinued. I have been doing my research and have read a lot of great reviews on the Liquidmetal 4. I went ahead and purchased this racquet without demoing because it was such a great price. I am so happy I decided to purchase this frame. This racquet allows me to swing through my shots effortlessly, all while generating great pace and keeping control. My ground strokes are going deeper and my serves are flatter and harder. I have even been going to the net more for some volleys, which I typically don’t like to do and just stay at the baseline. This racquet feels great and is very maneuverable on the court. The power that this racquet gives just can’t be beat. I will probably use this for a long time. Definitely recommend it!

Extra headsize and length cant go wrong.

It is light but because of its balance it hits and swings heavier and with the open pattern its a crisp feeling hit. Its also stable for its weight and I liked the added length and extra headsize for a Midplus.

Our granddaughter is playing with the liquidmetal 4 and loves it just like Mom and Grandmother. The built in dampening system works fine.
