Head Liquidmetal 8 Tennis Racquet
The Head Liquidmetal 8 is the most powerful offering in the Head Liquidmetal line, with a very forgiving sweetspot and significantly lighter weight. More forgiving than any of the other Liquidmetal racquets, the Liquidmetal 8 is geared toward a beginning to intermediate level player with a slow to moderate swing who requires a larger sweetspot. Open string pattern further enhances spin and size of the sweetspot. NoShox handle reduces vibrations by 27% without dampening feel.

I’ve been searching for a new racquet for a few months now. Each time I search, I kept finding myself back on the page of the Liquidmetal 8! Finally after much review I decided to purchase this frame. This is perfect for an intermediate player looking to upgrade to a powerful racquet without spending an arm and a leg. With the racquet being top heavy, it was easy to notice the power that came from this racquet. This racquet helped me generate the power I needed to soar past my competition and really take my game to the next level. I was very impressed with the comfort of this racquet and how versatile it seemed to be on the court. Out of the Liquidmetal 4 and the 8 I definitely preferred the 8. I switched out the string for Babolat Xcel at mid tension, which seemed to help me get some more pop on my shots.
Bought this racquet as an extra. It does have pretty good control, but not much plow thru power. Not arm friendly. But overall a descent racquet. I'm a mid 3.0 small frame, need some thing a little more solid feeling to punch back hard serves.
Dealing with a excellent Retail Sport Store
Could not have been more impressed with the ease of ordering and the user friendly web site. The product was just as explained and arrived one day ahead of schedule. I would encourage everyone to at lease try this store. They were very much a pleasant surprise from the others I have used.
Easy to hit top spin, slice, and volley, but still adjusting serve. Don't feel enough power while serving.
Excellent intermediate racquet
I use to use an old prince classic racquet, but this head liquid 8 has really improved my game. A nice oversized racquet that really works well at my level
I bought the racquet because it was recommended for beginner to intermediate players. I figured it would be a good first racquet. So far, so good.
