Head MicroGel Extreme MP Tennis Racquet
The Head MicroGel Extreme MP is Head's venture into offering a real 'tweener frame-100 sq. in. head, 27.25" length, 24mm/26mm beam, and 11.1 oz. strung weight. Another improvement Head has made with the Extreme to traditional racquets is immediately visible: the geometrics of the racquet head size are changed making it wider and rounder. This increased width can allow the ball to slide across a larger stringbed, generating greater spin velocity and providing more power.
The Head Extreme also offers aggressive, competitive players ultimate feel and unique touch through patented technology called MicroGel. When combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet head, MicroGel deforms and compresses upon ball impact, uniformly absorbing and distributing the impact load around the entire frame, creating a rock-solid feel while offering extra stability against twisting.

Great feel and control! I wanted a light racquet with a little weight on the head for extra power, this racquet is the one. And the price is realy good!
Great power and control
I really like the nice balance of this racket, as well as the power and control. This is now my go-to racket.
Comfortable with solid feel
Good value racquet for my son, who is steadily improving his game. He has raved about how comfortable the frame is. While watching him play I notice great stability around the net. He says it doesnt have much vibrations on off centered hits, and that it has an all around solid feel with good comfort. This Extreme racquet has allowed him to develop additional spin to his game. Nice frame for someone who wants both power and control at a good price.
I coach high school tennis and let my 1 singles player hit with my new racket, ordered her one the next day! Love the ability to hit power or spin!
From a Novice/Intemediate Player
As a novice/intermediate, the racquet does not have as large and forgiving sweet spot as our Prince O3 Red. But once you get used to it, it is fine. The white grips show dirt after the first use.
I'm a beginner at tennis and this is a great racket.
I love this racket. I let my friend borrow it, and he ended up ordering one just like mine. The little copycat!
Head Microgel Extreme
I have been using this racquet for a number of years. I have tried other Head racquets and have even tried Wilson and Babolat but always come back to this racquet. It gives me the right amount of power and control
Head Extreme MP
My son has been playing with this racket for two years now and kids can bang up rackets. Midwest had the best price and frankly, the best service of any of the online stores so I was able to replace two for him. I'm sure we will need more soon. Not to mention grips, overgrips, and other cool tennis stuff. Thanks....!!!
different from radical for sure
Tried to switch from Radical (18*20) to this 16*19 as its spec is close to Babolat; however, the feel was different and lack of control compared to radical.
I have been playing with the Extreme for 4 years. Wore 3 completely out(cracked, scratched up, etc.) Midwest was the only place I could find them. All around good racquet. Best tweener on the market
The first time I hit a ball, I immediately felt the difference. There was more power and spin to my hits! Definitely a great buy for me!
Best racquet ive ever owned!
Great feel and control, also lots of power! I wanted a light racquet with a little weight on the head for extra power, this racquet is the one. Money wise spent ,you want regret this purchase!
Love it! Great for topspin, baseline players. Very good control and power.
