A great racquet choice for the baseline player who swings fast and can control the weight distribution of the Instinct. Coming from the heavier and much more head light Wilson Six One, the Instinct felt light and maneuverable. But after some playing time, the balance and frame stiffness caught up with my arm. There's plenty of access to power and spin from the racquet, though the flat-hitters may prefer it more than the spinners. The oblong head shape took some time to get used to, as did the wide beam on slices. At net (when I got there), there wasn't much feel. But the Instinct made up for this with its stability. Overall, the racquet was easy to handle and offered a lot of energy on serves and groundstrokes without much effort once I got used to the balance. Most importantly, the Instinct has the coolest paint job out there. So even if your game doesn't improve, you'll look better while losing. I know I did.
A Slighty Heavier Winner
While the specs for this racquet and the Graphene Radical MP appear to be fairly close, there is a noticeable difference in the heft of the Instinct over the Radical. This racquet is well-balanced with some noticeable additional head-weight. It is solid and produces good power. It serves well and has good control. Someone with a reasonably fast swing would benefit the most from this racquet.
My game improved a lot. The size and the weight of it was perfect for my game
