Not for the long haul
I was initially stoked to find a shoe that felt very similar to the Nike 2K10-2K12 series which was replaced by the gaudy AIRMAX. Nice low ride, good lateral support and generous cushioning. One area they fell short on out of the box was a cheap insole with zero arch support, but when I slid my old Nike insoles into these shoes it was a perfect match. Unfortunately it was a short match. Having worn through 2 pairs in the past 3 months, be warned that unless you're a pro with a full sponsorship you would be best advised to get a different shoe: The outsole guarantee is a gimmick, because the uppers on these shoes are downright flimsy. Here's what happens: During the middle of first month, the cushioning around the heel wears out, and by the start of the second month, the shoelace eyelet base along the instep starts to pull away from the outer shell. There is no third month, which is disappointing since I would regularly get at least 3 months out of the 2K12's.
Kswiss Bigshot 2 mens tennis shoes
initially found supportive but ankle supports very firm compared to my other K swiss shoes and one shoe cramped my foot...also found on quick movements that my toes were crushed/pushed into front of shoe..early days yet but consider they are too firm on upper foot.
Great Performing Shoes
Been wearing Nike Air Max Cage this year, really like them but I decided to try out these K-Swiss when an older pair wore out and I am most impressed. I would say I like the fit and feel even more than the Nike's. These shoes give me a little more cushion without feeling mushy or sacrificing stability so my feet are feeling pretty good even after a long match. They seem to be a very well made shoe and are holding up great so far, I expect to get plenty of use out of these. I just might get a pair in the yellow as well.
Just too tight
Nice looking shoes but I take 10.5 shoes and it seemed like a 10.4. Too tight and had to return.
K-Swiss Bigshot II
After using New Balance for the last 7 years, I decided to try K-Swiss. What a difference! It's more comfortable, offers more support and cushioning, and my feet felt great when I took them off. Highly recommend.
Wanted to try a higher level shoe. This one was priced right. The shoe feels really good, no loose feeling, just good all around. Good solid feel with each step. Lots of good comments received by the look of the shoe.
Great right out of the box
Love these shoes. I found the sizing to be 1/2 size small. Also heel felt a little low at first. Great feel though with great stability.
This shoe fits really good...Love it so far...I may just jump onto the K-Swiss shoes because of this shoe...
Like it - very comfortable right out of the box.
comfortable lightgood support
these K SWISS are the most comfortable tennis sneakers ever Received many compliments on style and bright colors
These shoes have great heel support and are comfortable. They are true to size as well. This is my second pair and Midwest sports has a great price on them.
he loves these shoes
My husband has always been a KSwiss shoe fan. He has never had anything but a white tennis shoe. I bought these for him and noted the known great fit and really liked the color!
FUN & PRACTICAL
JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST PAIR & HAVE ALREADY ENJOYED THE FUN COMMENTS FROM OTHER TENNIS PLAYERS; PLUS, I HAVE ENJOYED BREAKING THEM IN ON THE COURT & THEY FEEL SUPER. IT SHOULD HELP MY GAME...MAYBE? THKS
Great Shoe, Bigger than size
The shoe is real great! I find it 1/2 US size bigger than actual. That means if I'm 8.5, I got the 9 that fits perfectly.
Not an Improvement
I've had 2 pairs of Big Shots and these supposedly improved Big Shot 2's are not. The is the first day I've worn them and the bottoms of my feet are killing me and feel bruised. They were hurting on the hard court while playing and hurt especially worse since I'm home and have taken them off. The uppers on these shoes are split down the middles as mostly rubber and plastic on one side and very little leather on the other. I'll keep with the regular Big Shot or my tried and true K-Swiss Ultra Ascendors. Will have to see how the out-soles hold up.
Light and stable
These shoes are very light for the amount of stability/support they provide. Lateral movement in them is great. They also seem to live up to the outsole guarantee based on the design and feel, butI haven't had them long enough to truly put it to the test. On the downside, the toe box is a bit large, but my impression may be biased because my old Barricades were very snug. The fit is at best true to size and at worst about a half size large. I solved this problem by replacing the insole with a thicker one, and now the shoes fit and feel great. Overall, great shoe for those looking for a light shoe with good support and stability.
