Great when Tamed

This racket has outstanding power potential, but control can be an issue without the right string combo. I found that a nice Kevlar blend worked beautifully. It tamed the power, creates tremendous spin and has the durability to hold up to this string pattern.

Good racquet but...

I was looking for more spin and a lighter racquet for quicker hands at the net. I definitely got both with this racquet, however, two things I hadn't counted on: 1. because of the open string pattern I can get a "flyer" if I don't intentionally swing for spin (more of a brush stroke) - you don't want to hit flat, and volleys tend to fly a little more - not quite the touch I'm used to. 2. Be prepared to string a lot because of the open pattern. With less string density to spread the impact of the ball with each stroke, the strings will definitely move more and "saw through" breaking strings much more quickly. I used a 16-gauge poly and broke the strings after 3 sets (near the end of the third). I will be re-stringing today and seeing if that was atypical - but I doubt it.

Solid, spin and good value

First thing first: tons of spin. For baseline rally or kick serve, this is the best among those spin enhanced models. It also the best racquet in Prince O3 series on feel and control. With longer swing, the shot is powerful but highly controllable. Baseline style benefit from the racquet the most. All court games work fine as it is a little hard to manuver during the quick volley exchange for double. Sweetspot is decent but not as large as other O3 series sibling. Overall it is a great choice to whom relying on heavy spin power game for margin of error. Highly recommended.

I have been big fan of Prince racquets ever since the original O3 series. I had been used to the Rebel and was disappointed when I heard it was discontinued. This racquet picked up where that left off with even better feel. I am an interclub player that plays in about a half dozen tournaments a year. It was balanced just how I like it and drove thru my forehands and backhands. It is worth a try.

Nice pop and feel.

This racquet does have a huge sweet spot. Tons of spin and a nice pop sound. Easy to control plus the feel of this racket is very comfortable. Only negative I would say is that the racket doesn't have a good stand up against heavier shots. However, overall its a decent racquet. Just needed a bit of added weight, recommend putting some lead tapes!

The ESP is awesome! You can really fell the spin difference compared to a denser string pattern. I also felt a lot of pop on power without sacrificing control. I liked it especially on my kick serve. What I don't like about this racquet is that you have to keep on adjusting the strings because it moves a lot especially if you're a spinner. Overall, I would recommend this racquet to spinners who prefer a little power without sacrificing control
