Yonex VCORE Tour G Tennis Racquet

Yonex VCORE Tour G Tennis Racquet

Stanislas Wawrinka's new racquet of choice. The Yonex VCORE Tour G offers another excellent player-oriented spec in the heritage of the Yonex VCORE Tour, RDiS 100 and RDS001. This frame is ideal for players looking to play more of a powerful offensive styled game mixed in with great spin potential. Micro Core material for improved feel incorporated into the 20mm wide beam at the tip. Deeper grooves in the 3D Vector Shaft improve racquet stiffness and reduces twisting of the frame, increasing face stability by 20%. Neo CS carbon nanotube embedded in the shaft for greater flexibility to hold the ball on the strings longer to allow you to generate even greater levels of spin for an aggressive bounce and precise control. X Fullerene adds additional stiffness and repulsion power for the quickest response and best face stability ever achieved in a Yonex racquet.

The VCORE Tour "Gravity" is optimal for the more advanced player looking for an excellent control and spin oriented frame in a more forgiving 97 square inch head size. Crisp response from the X Fullerene matrix in the frame itself, and added forgiveness on shots hit near the frame tip. Excellent feel, thin 20mm frame and open 16x20 pattern for excellent access to spin.

I can see why Stan Wawrinka plays with this frame. The Tour G is a serious player’s frame, right out of the box. Swings very heavy, a lot of weight in the throat of the racquet. Very similar to that of the RF97 and Babolat’s Pure Strike Tour. When I play, I typically don’t rely too much from the frame in terms of power. The Tour G offers great precision and a comfort feel. Great player's frame that offers ideal precision and comfortable stability.

Nice racquet. I used Babolat aero pro GT before. This is lot better than that. Very nice and compact strike. I use poly 17G string with it.

    Soft but it can kill
