I have been a big fan of another brand tennis shoe, but when I tried this Nike tennis shoe, I LOVE it! No break-in needed and super comfortable with great arch support. This is my new favorite shoe!

I always used Nike Air Max Breathe Free II model, I switched to this one, when Nike stopped making them. I play almost every day, 3.5 level. I found that this shoe offers more support then the previous model, especially in the plantar area. I tend to suffer from occasional achilles tendinitis, but since playing in this shoe I haven't had the problem.
This shoes runs bigger. With Nike Air Max Breathe Free II I used 7.5 , this model I am perfect fit with 7.0 because I have a narrow foot.

My previous Nike Air Tennis Shoe fit perfectly from toe to heel.
This new design leaves too much room in the toe area for movement and black toenails are the result.
In order to wear this shoe, I will need an insert or doubling of socks which will make everywhere else feel too tight.

I buy Nike regularily because their shoes consistantly fit my feet. This is the first time i've bought a Max Cage. Great shoe for summer- very breathable. Not a lot of cushioning and the sole is very stiff. I don't feel like I have much bounce or speed. I would not buy this shoe again. I play 4 times a week and tried the shoe because the sole was guaranteed for 6 months.
