The Nike Vapor Tour 9 is a complete re-invention of Roger Federer's Vapor Tour tennis shoe, now in a bold new color update for Spring 2013. Features a synthetic leather quarter panel overlay and a new Adaptive Fit construction that wraps from the laces to the bottom of the arch for a glove like fit. Mesh throughout helps keep foot cool and comfortable. Full length Lunarlon cushioning offers a lightweight blend of ultra plush cushioning, springy response, and support. XDR compound on the heel and forefoot in a multisurface, herringbone pattern for long lasting durability and traction. To be worn by Roger Federer at the 2013 Australian Open.

  • Encapsulated Nike Zoom unit in the heel provides lightweight cushioning, impact protection, and comfort.
  • TPU midfoot shank for lateral support and stability during quick directional changes and sprints.
    OUTSOLE:
  • XDR compound on the heel and forefoot in a multisurface, herringbone pattern for long lasting durability and traction.
  • Flex grooves provide flexibility and a more natural forefoot motion on the court.
  • Outsole material wraps the toe to enhance durability.

I was excited to try these out, but I put them on and they were just way too narrow. I don't have super fat feet, either. I returned them before I went outside -- so I don't have any real-world testing to report, just a warning that you may find the fit too snug for comfort.
