Pros: comfortable, durable, stable.
Cons: hard to keep clean!
#1 Choice for Tennis Shoe. Good quality & value with 6 month guarantee. This shoe lasts about 4 months with 2 hours of tennis every day before wearing thru the toe.
I love this shoe from the looks all the way down to the tech side of things. They are a little hefty at over 14 ounces but they do not feel sluggish or slow at all on the court. These shoes offer great stability and so far great durability as well. This shoe does have a little bit of a break in period which is the only thing that has kept me from giving it a 5 out of 5. After a solid 10 hours on court the fitment and comfort I expected from unboxing is now spot on. I didn't think I would like these more than my Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 shoes but I love them even more. Anyone interested in these shoes should definitely give then a shot.
looks nice, very cushion-y, haven't had any problems with heel slippage like others had. Also, no air bubble like the ones that were an evident problem in the Air Max Cages so that's a pro
Nice shoes. Run big. I am wearing 2 pairs of socks so I can wear the shoes.
I love the shoes I need a good durable pair of shoes and these were the right choice.
Not durable at all. Lasted about 2-3 weeks before putting holes in the shoes
This is a fantastic shoe. It s very comfortable, durable, and light. I bought it for my brother. He loves it too much and he decided to wear it everyday and leave Prince out
Great fitting shoes, very stylish and support. No break in period necessary. Love them so much that this was my second pair. Great service from Midwest Sports. I will continue to order from them.
Good quality tennis shoe. Love the Nike 6 month outsole guarantee. My tennis shoe of choice for 3 years now!
I had bought 4 pairs of Nike Zoom Cage 2 Mens Tennis Shoes for my children as gifts. One pair was ordered wrong-sized, the customer-service person was courteous and corrected the problem immediately. These shoes look classy yet athletic, comfortable yet allowed quickness on courts. Everyone loved the shoes.
Between my son and I, we have purchased 7 pairs of Air Cage and Air Cage 2 shoes. They are relatively light, comfortable and durable.
Nike's best tennis shoe in the market
This is the only pair of shoes from nike that will last a decent amount of time. The cage V2 was reinforced in strategic areas for people who "slide and grind": internal face of the shoe and outsole. The only downside is the resulting rigidity, bulkiness, and heavy feel. True to size.
It is a solid shoe. It is not too heavy, but it has loads of support. It has a 6 month warranty, which is never a bad thing. I play 4 hours of tennis a day, so shoes wear out quickly, but I can trust to have this shoe for at least 70 to 100 hours of play.
very stable and comfortable, if you like a bit of a stiffer shoe. My only complaint would be that you really have to put some muscle into cinching it around the ankle. durability is good.
Nike's Cage series has been my go-to choice for footwear. The feet and feel have been consistent--it's as stable as ever, and this version is no different. Bonus points for more durable eyelets than in past models.
Fits true to size. Durability lasts about 5 months for me but they are covered by a 6 month warranty. They have decent padding and don't give you a low to the ground feeling, but are still stable.
Been wearing Nike tennis shoes for last 5 years. Most recent pair was Lunar Ballistics 11.50, which fit perfectly. Ordered Air Max Cage 2 in an 11 and 11.50 and neither fit. Too small and too big. Go figure.
I had been a faithful user of the air max cage so was bummed out when they were discontinued. I like the cage 2 even more... They are lighter, wide, and just as comfortable but with a better fit. Just what I was looking for! Hopefully the sole will be a bit more durable.
Very comfortable. 6 month sole guarantee. True fit. More lightweight than older version
-love the looks -very comfortable -light on the court -are durable, but if they wear out you can get another pair so it's a bang for your buck
Zoom Cage 2 provides more support and durability than Max Cage. I felt It runs 1/4 (not 1/2) size large and needs a while to break in. Overall it is a great shoe!
One of the most if not the most comfortable shoe I've had. It feels good to move across the court. It breaks in quick.
Cool shoe, really comfortable.
This had holes on the 15th day. very weak. Comfortable to wear but not strong enough
Good lookin shoe, but fits half a size bigger than normal. I think the durability is what shines on this shoe. Even tho it may last a longer time, I'll stick to zoom vapor 9.5's.
Really comfortable, pretty light, very durable. These shoes are great for people who like very durable shoes and ok for lightness then these are the right shoes for you.
This is a decent shoe from Nike. The reason I purchased was due to the 6 month warranty. I have had several pairs of the Vapor 9/9.5, and they are my favorite as far as fit and feel, but I wear through the soles rather quickly. The Zoom Cage is a close second in feel. Make sure you get 1/2 size smaller than your usual size, as these fit big. Much better support than the Max Cage which was the predecessor to this model.
I had read the reviews and ordered a half size smaller than usual. That was very helpful information. My son also has a narrow foot so this is a little wide for him but nothing that tightening the strings couldn't fix. He loves the shoe and says it gives him great support on the court.
These shoes look awesome. Ventilation is excellent. I have never felt hot in them. Great traction, comfort. I'm very satisfied and would recommend these but be aware that these shoes fit wider than normal.
These shoes are very comfortable. They have really nice grip, and plus they look awesome. The show doesn't weigh too much soo that's a plus
