This is my 3rd O3 White!! Great racquet, feels way softer than its stiffness number indicates because of the ports! I restrung with a zyex string (feels like natural gut, maintains tension) at 55 and I have been slaying my opponents. Screaming forehands, devastating overheads, monumental serves, humongous sweetspot, and beast-like backhands!! I also put a Prince Resi-Soft grip on (I do with all my racquets) and it feels like a dream. Great starter racquet, and for advanced players, put your favorite poly string in, and/or add some weight. Great racquet for all levels, also a great platform frame. I think Prince is going to be doing away with this line, so I am going to snag 5 more and multiple grommet sets, because when you find something you like, manufacturers change it somehow (usually for the worse) Great, Great Racquet, and a great price!!!
I TRIED THIS RAQUET OUT TO SEE IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IT AND THE 2003 PRINCE RED O3 I HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH FOR A WHILE. I DID NOTICE SOME IMPROVEMENT IN SPN, BUT I DID NOT GENERATE THE POWER I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET FROM IT. IT HAS THE SAME AS MINE. MAYBE IT WAS THE STRING. WHEN I WANTED POWER IT WAS HARD TO CONTROL, SO I HAD TO SWING AT MEDIUM SPEED FOR THAT. AT THE NET IT DOES OK. I DIDN'T FEEL THE ABSORBTION FROM HARD SHOTS LIKE I THOUGHT I WOULD. IT'S A GOOD RAQUET FOR BEGINNERS WANTING TO IMPROVE.
I switched from a Babolat AreoPro Drive to the Prince O3 White. Babolat is too stiff for my arm. Right after I used the Prince O3 White, I finally found my racquet. It's so easy for my arm that I can not feel any uncomfortableness, even when I block heavy volley from 4.5 players. It's very easy to control the balls. I wish I had use O3 White at the beginning when I first started to play tennis. By the way, I also think this racquet has the best paint job.
