This racquet generates a lot of spin but is very tough on strings. I have never broken strings on any of my racquets but In less than two months I broke the strings twice. I am now playing with Luxilon strings and hopefully the strings will last longer. After getting use to the extra spin, I love the feel of the racquet. If the Luxilon strings hold up, I will definitely get another as a backup as it great when you opponents thinks the ball is going long and it drops a foot inside the line.
I previously played with the Babolat Aeropro Drive which I like and stopped using because of tennis elbow. I then moved to the Babolat Z Lite Pink racquet which was lighter and more flexible and my tennis elbow got OK after using this racquet for 6 months. This racquet was too light for me so I moved to the Wilson Prostaff 100L. I had used Prostaff's before and I loved the feel and control. However my one handed backhand was a little weak. My new coach told me I had to move to 105 head size racquet as my strokes were compact. He recommended Prince for oversize and I was hesitant as I have always been a Wilson or Babolat racquet user. His view was that Prince had been doing oversize for the longest time and they were good at it. He had one to try and at first my back hands were much better (very good in fact) but my forehands were going a little long. I added a little topspin to my forehand and I was playing much better all round. I have had this racquet for 3 weeks now and played matches with it. Its great on all strokes and it volleys well too. I have good control and accuracy and spin is excellent. I would recommend this racquet to anyone who has a compact stroke and those who would like more power in their game.
Plush, dampened, nice pop. Looks beautiful, swings easily and is easy on arm. On flat shots it will go long on big swings and if you can add spin the esp will bring it in the court. For the price it reminds me of a cadillac, smooth, luxurious, and perfect!!! Loving it!!
This racquet just felt good. I sought it to have a racquet with power, spin, and easy on the arm. The power was definitely good, especially for my serve. However, it had a little too much oomph for my ground game. The spin was ok, but not as good as the Volkl V1 pro Mid that I tried. (The V1, however, did not have the same power as this one, and was a bit heavier.) If I could have a racquet with this power, size, and weight, but with the Volkl spin, I'd be set.
