Overall, a very nice, well balanced, racquet with an open stringing pattern that allows for some wicked spin to be imparted on the ball. Another winner from Prince.
This is the second racquet I bought with the same specs and model. I bought the first one last October 2015 and immediately loved it. The weight, the spin it gives to my strokes was visible. Thank you Prince.
I'm a 3.5 club player: top spin forehand, flat or slice one hand backhand, power and slice serve - been playing all my 50+ years. Doubles on Tuesday, singles on Thursday. Thought I was buying the same racket again, but apparently I did not have the ESP version. Had it strung at 60lbs with the recommended Premier Control 17g. Played with this racquet 4 times now. The strings move on every serve and shot such that I have to move 5-7 strings back into place after every point. This has never happened to me before and I do not like it. Midwest tells me it is because of the open string pattern so for those of you that have a similar game, watch out because this racquet plays like no other and the strings will move all over the place with every shot.
Purchased for teaching small group lessons and as a loaner.Perfect choice.A couple of students purchased the same racquet after using it. Prince again:)
Great racquet and what a price! ESP string pattern really allows for great spin!
I was a looking for a light weight with little bit more power and more spin than my Wilson BLX Bold. This racquet is the perfect answer to that. This is light as a feather but has more power (1200 power level) and oodles of spin on it. I am a 3.5 level player with weak backhand and a strong forehand. This racquet gave more power to my backhand with extra spin. The only downside I can think of is that I hit a pretty strong and flat forehand shots hence they tend to go long more often than I would like. I just need to get adjusted to that. Nevertheless, great racquet!! Go for it!!
I don't write reviews ever really, but this guy deserves one. The price alone makes it worth buying. But the playability is great. The power level is high in my opinion. Spin generation is really good because of the crazy open string pattern(16x14). I bought two and both came with a set of prince 15l strings. And now at this price, just do it. The one thing that is a bit strange is the wooshing sound the large ports make. But I could care less when the ball comes ripping off the strings.
It's my second Prince racquet! I love it! I wanted to have a second racquet for tournaments. Midwest Sports has the best prices!
I am a High School Player, and was looking for a racquet which i can have confidence hitting the ball, i used the Wilson Blade 98 (16*19) before this racquet. With the blade i could put a lot of power, yet i felt no stability, and a lot of my shots were going long. With this racquet i feel my form is ten times better due to the lightness, and also i feel more confident when i hit the ball. Has a ton of spin and power on my second serve, my first serve was okay with this racquet.Great approach shot, okay baseline shots. Great volley, and probably the best for doubles play. Recommended for young players (8-12) but work with all level of play.
My daughter is a high school junior playing second singles and loves this racquet. Her game has improved significantly with its predictability.
I'm a 4.5 player and play multiple times a week
Great all around racket, great feel, lots of spin; lots of control. Easy on the arm .....
personally I think the racket was a little too light so I'd add extra weight but really great racket
Lightweight, yet plenty of power. I've played with it 3 times this week and I feel it improved my game!
It is hard to find a 100 sq in head this light. I create enough power to go to this headsize, but I do not like the heavier feel of most other racquets. This had just the right amount of power and I appreciated the extra bite on my serves. Very nice racquet.
Great control and spin on this baby. Power is above average - flat hits tend to sail long so keep spin on each shot. I'm 4.5 player with full swing and stay mostly on baseline. Highly recommend this stick.
I received my Prince warrior about a week ago. I was playing a Babalot 105. I found this racquet to be very solid and easy to swing from anywhere on the court. I seem to be getting a good bit more top spin which makes it easy to swing with more power. Overall I would recommend this racquet t o anyone for the price and quality.
This is the first time I'm using a Head Heavy racket. I received the package after lunch and I tried it out right after work. Compared to the Prince EXO3 Warrior which I purchased last May of this year, this would be very light and very gentle to my tennis elbow. I can control my shots more easily considering that it's light. I can't wait to try it out when the weekend comes. Thank you MidWest and Prince.
This racquet was a Little too light for me, but had a great sweetspot. This request really does a good job of generating a lot of spin. I would get this racquet if you want something really light and want some more spin on your hits.
Great light racquet! Large sweet spot and perfect for a power hitter.
I really like this racquet. It doesn't have an over sized head, but it has a large sweet spot. It is a very light racquet, so being a little head heavy is not problem at net, and adds some pop to the ball from the baseline. Great racquet for a spin serve.
