Excellent shoe. Love fit stability and long lasting. Second pair I've bought......
I loved the T24 but the T22 proved too soft. The Warrior works well for me with solid support, not a spongy soft shoe. I had a NB for a while which had too much give and ended up hurting my feet. Love the Warrior -great support and design.
The Prince Warrior Men's Tennis She is not my first experience with Prince shoes! While it has been almost ten years since I wore Prince shoes, I decided to give this a try since the price-point made the choice much easier. The fit is very comfortable. The arch support is well-represented in the description. This shoe fits and feels much like the Adidas Barricade 2016--similar in weight as well. Since I weigh 203 and I run--a lot--the heavier shoe holds up better to someone of my weight running all over a court. The lacing system is good. It doesn't have the additional adjustment for the heel-cup, but the shoes laces well. One nice feature is the tongue of the shoe is heavier than the Adidas shoes I have and helps keep the laces from biting into the top of your foot! The only minimal drawback is the heel-cup; Prince has a somewhat "roomy" heel-cup that can cause your foot to pop in & out of the bottom of the shoe. I found by wearing a slightly heavier sock, the problem was eliminated. The toe-box is comfortably roomy without being sloppy. The laces allows me to adjust the tightness depending on the time of day I'm playing-my feet swell some by the end of the day. I took these out of the box and played three sets of singles without any issues. The shoe has excellent support and I expect to get a good deal of wear out of these! I would definitely buy these again! Great shoe!
Its running control is not as good as the Babolat Propulse Team All Court, and the vamp of left foot was broken just over 2 weeks.
I like the looks of these. They are an update of the t22, which I have enjoyed. My biggest issue with the t22, which is a comfortable and durable show, is the mesh on the front. That mesh gets wet and dirty, especially when playing platform tennis in the winter. The warrior fixes this problem by adding a rubbery coating over the mesh in front. That should help with wetness and dirt. I only give three stars because the warrior just did not fit my feet. It was stiff, which I am sure would work out. Still, it was narrow and just did not feel right. If you try them on and they feel comfortable, this is likely to be a great shoe for you. It looks to be even more durable than the t22, which is super solid.
Bought these because I liked how previous Prince shoes have had great support, and good comfort. These shoes have nice, firm support however, after 4-5 times using them, I'm getting blisters on the outside of my toes. Because of the 'plasticky' uppers, there's no breathing or 'give' for your feet. Pretty disappointed I must say.
Uncomfortable compared to last years. Heavier.
I like a shoe with a solid base underfoot for good cushioning and comfortable non-binding upper. The Prince Warrior has the look for what I want and does the job very well. Great comfort out of the box and the looks of quality and sturdiness for the long run. 6 mo. sole guarantee. What more can you ask?
Very pleased with these shoes. The were a little stiff and tight at first but are breaking in well. Excellent traction on different surfaces. Great stability and arch support.
I like the price and look of shoe-very durable Dislike: all plastic material.
Excellent upper support. I've been wearing the T-22 and they get a little loose feeling with some wear.
The shoes looks great, but it is heavy and tight. feet hurt at first get better after couple times. the plastic rubber is a bit hard.
Very, very comfortable, even after being on your feet for a couple of hours on the court feeding balls to my teenage kids and hitting with them. I prefer to use Adidas Barricades which fit really well on my narrow foot. But these Prince Warriors are great for the price point. They also have a six outersole wear warranty. I've bought two pairs for my youngest son, and two pairs for me.
Very comfortable. Not too stiff. Not too heavy. I found lateral and up and back court coverage to be a snap with this shoe. I'd definitely recommend it
This is a solid well-made shoe that is balance and comfortable. I am happy with this purchase.
Nice fitting shoe with no need for break in. Last long but a bit on the heavy side.
I have owned numerous Prince tennis shoes over the last 12 years or so. I used the T22 for league/tournament play and other, now discontinued Prince for social/practice play. I find this I find this Warrior a great shoe, now my go-to competition shoe. Perhaps a tad heavier than the T22's but that's OK for me. So far durability is very good. Customer service at Midwest is great, I have dealt with the other 2 BIg Boys, The color combo is just my style. Thanks for a good deal on a great shoe Midwest!
Like it in general. The width fits, the size is exact, and it does not need break-in.
Best Tennis shoe I ever owned.
Every shoe I've used lasted from 3-10wks. I usually use Adidas,Nike, lotto and NB. I was tired of shoes not lasting more than a month. Never used prince so I decided to give them a chance. I play 4-6 times a wk And so far it's been the best shoes I've used. Little too heavy for me but I can tell it will last several months.
I went searching for real tennis shoes locally and was very disappointed so figured out the best size to purchase and just took a chance, so glad we did! My son loves these shoes and they are really helping him with his game. The box the shoes arrived in was a bit worn out, but the shoes were as expected. Thank you for the quick delivery as well!
The new style prevents premature wearing of the fabric above your toes. The new shoe has a woven fabric to prevent the premature wearing.
I am a recreational player who loves Prince. I got these in an 11 and I normally wear a 10.5, they fit perfect (tennis shoes always fit me weird so I get half size bigger) I have played several games in them and they fit perfect and feel sooo comfortable. I have never had any issues with toe jamming or sliding. I haven't had any issues at all. I am very happy with my purchase, but to each his own. I don't have the t22's so I can't compare the 2, but I do have the Viper 7 low's and I like these a little more (they both are awesome for me) Plus they look awesome!
