This is the second pair I've owned. They have been around a while. The first pair de-laminated in the soles, however they were so comfortable and supportive, I ordered another pair. I have a wide foot and this shoe has a roomy toebox.
Bought the shoe because of the increased ankle support and the fact I adore another pair of shoes from K-Swiss. After playing tennis for awhile I have learned that when my knees or but hurts it's not because I've been playing more, it's all about the shoe. I've also only injured myself in shoes I have worn too long. I play 5-7 times a week and am a 3.5 player. One of my knees is hurting after playing for a week and a half with this shoe, and I am a bit sad because I had such hopes for it. The Defier is the K Swiss shoe that works for me and even broken down my knees and but feel better than with this shoe. Gonna have to wear the Old Defiers till I order a new pair and use these for a walk in the park or something like that. Too roomy in the front of the foot and it feels like my heel is too low. Rather understand that it is being discontinued, I would look to the Defier.
I like this shoe...gives great support and is a good choice for narrow feet. It feels very secure on the court
About to order my third pair.. Great support, last long and comfortable.
These are the best! On my 5th pair. They are long lasting and have great support. Only negative, they are heavy.
