4 Stars Great Everyday Replacement Grip

In order to price competitively nowadays, tennis manufacturers often put below-average replacement grips on new racquets, except the top-end racquets like Wilson RF 97 Autographs, etc. A good replacement can cost upwards of $10, even more, if genuine leather. Among Head replacement grips, I actually prefer the Hydrosorb Tour Replacement, as its name indicates, it really absorbs moisture more effectively, however, because of the extra cushioning, it really bulks up the grip size - making the stick difficult to maneuver, especially with modern trends towards smaller grip sizes to generate spins. Head SoftTac Traction is much thinner, therefore, it doesn't have quite the cushioning of Hydrosorb, but it keeps the grip size smaller for great maneuverability. IN all, not a bad in-betweener, but DEFNITELY much better than the original grips the racquets come with.

I have used this grip for several years. The grip does everything it is suppose to do. It is more than long enough to cover the entire grip and the racquet handle will have great feel in your hand. To apply the grip is pretty easy. I have recommended it to friends and they have all been more than satisfied.
