I am a certifiable string hopper! I am always trying something new and trying to find that extra edge. I thought I had found it with these strings until I had a reoccurrence of Tennis Elbow.

5 Stars Volkl Cyclone Tour compared to Technifibre HDX Tour

I previously used Tecnifibre NGR2 17 and X One BiPhase 17. The Bi-Phase One wore out quickly on my Prince Premier 105 Racquet which has a 14x16 very open string pattern (tension 62, this is a high tension racquet). I tried the Head 'comfort' Sonic Pro 16 on this same racquet, but it felt a little stiffer (I have a tendency to get tennis elbow) and I did worry about it although it never got as far as getting tennis elbow again. I used the HDX Tour 17 on my new Prince Warrior 107T racquet string pattern 16x19 tension 57. I did not see any major improvement in Power or Spin compared to the NGR2 or the X One Biphase. It looks more durable, time will tell. I used the 'comfort' Volkl poly Cyclone Tour 17 G (same tension) on my spare Prince 107T and its a fabulous string: more power, great control, more spin, more energy return, more pop on serves and crisp volleys and solid ground strokes. ItGÇÖs half the price of the HDX Tour.

Good string that has some of the characteristics of RPM without killing your arm. Very durable, holds its tension well.

5 Stars Excellent String

Good Pop and spin from this string. Very Durable String which has been lasting for more than 3 months and still performing good. Good power so recommend tension around 57 for more control.

5 Stars Very Nice Strings

4 Stars Great Strings!

I've been trying a handful of strings (Black Widow, Syn Gut, Moto16) and this stuff seems to fit my game pretty well. The power feels good, the control is great and the durability seems to be holding up. I'm on my second set and so far I haven't felt the need to try different strings. In addition, I don't have any arm pain like I've received with some of the other polys I've tried. My level is 4.0 and I strung my racquets at 54. Overall, solid product which I will keep as my go to string......for now.
