I've been a Yonex player for 30 years plus and this racket follows in the tradition of Yonex frames: solid, maneuverable, and crisp, this racket has power without sacrificing much control. You can stick your volleys, and get decent pop on serves, all with pinpoint control.
After a 20year layoff, I wanted to begin playing again. Yonex was my racquet of choice then, so I decided to get another one. Being a senior (over 65) player, I wanted a racquet that would produce good results. This racquet does, especially the spin shots.
As a former USPTA teaching pro I have always like the isometric design of Yonex racquets. The Vcore xi 100 is another great tennis racquet from Yonex corp. It may be my imagination but it seems like I get a lot of spin hitting with this frame. My ground strokes and serve feel solid. If there is any difficulty with this frame it would be volleys...but no major drawback!
