Shoe take a bit of getting use to but has broken in nicely. I'll see how it holds up - I'm 220 and I play 4 times a week.
WILSON AND SEVERAL LEADING BRANDS DON'T OFFER WIDTH SIZING. ONLY NEW BALANCE IS VARIED IN THERE WIDTH/SIZE RATIO. HOWEVER; THEIR SHOES ARE TOO ORDINARY. WHY DON'T THE OTHER BRANDS OFFER WIDTH VARIATION?
I have used Midwest numerous times over the years. You never disappoint. Thank you!
Ordered the shoes for my son who plays for high school team. We usually go for New Balance, because he needs a wider shoe, but these fit perfectly, are very comfortable yet providing great maneuverability on the hard court.
What else can you say about these great old Wilsons? They're super sneaks, the kind of gym shoes you grew up with and feel just right (after some breaking in) the way a pair of canvas sneaks would, if anybody still made canvas sneakers with decent soles. If you've been wearing state of the art Heads or Adidases or such, you may find these great Pro Staffs almost clunky at first, confining the feet as it were, but once you get the feel back you find they give you a sure footing on the court at whatever level of game you play.
I can move in them well. They are a big off the top so if you prefer a more open toe feeling then this is a shoe for you. My Adidas Barricade hug my feet better. Not sure if they will hold up to the wear and tear as well as the Adidas. So far they they are fine. The have just enough green which I like as well. overall solid shoe which is what I expected and the price was excellent.
I tried my new Wilson Pro Staff Classic II shoes in a grueling match last weekend. So comfortable and light! I am thinking of ordering couple of more pairs for future need.
Solid update from the old Wilson Pro Staff. Definitely lighter and easier to break in, and seems to be as durable as the old Goodyear Indy 500 soles. Great deal on a nice color update to the white and navy. Thanks Wilson!
