I'm 75 yrs old, doubles only, about a 3.5 player. NXT 17g is great on this racket. If you string it at the low end, you will get a lot of power with a short, slow swing - but not much control. Strung at the maximum 65, you still have a very arm-friendly racket, and you still have good pace on your ground strokes and volleys with a bit more effort, but now with good control. Racket produces a lot of spin. The one thing I could not do is serve "heat" with this racket. Easy to go long. You will be spinning your serves in. I have been trying (lots of) other rackets thinking I might lift my game now that I am developing a full swing. I did find a couple that I could play more consistently with, but I felt them in my wrist and arm after even a short session, so they aren't for me.
