After using a Yonex racquet for many years, I decided to switch over to this racquet. I previously played with a 100 inch head size, but I figured this 98 wouldn’t be too much of a difference. Once I found the right string (Wilson NXT), the racquet started feeling softer and with less vibration. With this combination of racquet and string I was able to get ample amount of power and control. I’m able to place my shots better and the quality of shots is better than it ever was with the Yonex racquet. As long as you have the right string, this is a great frame. It is a shame that it is so underrated because of the lesser known brand. I recommend giving this racquet a try!
Love the frame, under close scrutiny, under the grip is the layup code, PT965B or PT965A depending on 16 or 18 main. These have a low swingweight, and are meant to have lead added to the hoop IMO. The feel is sublime, and similar to classic frames and there is little to no vibrations in this frame. Great control, great spin, and feel is top notch. These frames are amazing, and if you have skill, the pallets can be swapped out with Head TK82s pallets, just make sure you get the new buttcap if you swap the pallets. 5 grams at noon, brings this stick to life. This is Tecnifibre's pro stock, grab one while you still can!! I got one of each string pattern, and they are insanely good frames!!!
Like: maneuverable, feel, spin, control and flex(easy on arm) Dislike: low powered, can't get free power when not fit etc. Demoed it to see the taste of this racquet because I like the specs. Overall I like it but will take when my game goes one level up.
